NBA Season -2.61 Units
Got a few units back on NBA Friday which was good. Missed the Phoenix and Bobcats Over by 1 Point, and the Dallas line by 1 point which was a bit rough, but great to come away with a positive day to get back some units after a horrible Wednesday.
I was fairly busy today, and didn't really see anything that appealed to me upon first glance on the 10 game card. Try and get into more plays throughout this week.

Although this one could go the other way if he's fired up after the 1 point loss last night. However I see it differently, He was humiliated by the media over night about making Isaiah Thomas not shake hands with Chris Paul AFTER he tried to hit a game winner by himself, chose to try and draw contact and failed miserably. He also has a really poor record playing against Gasol and the Lakers only averaging 13.8 points in his career. Hopefully he has another sulk, and the coach benches him for most of the game again. I will add that I like Sacramento as a team, but it seems their rotations are way out at the moment and the coach has no control on the court and no idea which players work in the best situations.

This is by no means an easy start to the NBA season. I feel like each time I string together a few good days, I have a really heavy loss all on the one day which brings my profitability right back down. Ive had a few busy days on over the last few weeks and havn't been playing every day. Having said that a few of the results from many of the games I missed really surprised me.
Just some notes on where my heads at with teams going into December;
Denver
Im not expecting the books to continue giving us value on this team. After a rough start to the season they have cruised through some fairly decent teams and are 5-0 SU on their last 5 games, 8-2 of their last 10 whilst averaging 108 points. I like the depth this team has with 3 players who can all go hard and run point at any given time, Lawson, Robinson and Foye who on any given night can create their own offence. Behind their impressive 1 and 2 spot they have a host of big men who are capable of scoring, shot blocking and hustling for boards. This is a team to watch who are flying under the radar due to the whole team contributing to their own success rather than individuals.
Brooklyn
Time to admit that its looking like I couldnt be more wrong about my initial thoughts on Brooklyn this year. They are woeful, no team chemistry, too many injuries and Coaching staff are out of their depth. As much as I like and admire Jason Kid, I doubt he will be with Brooklyn for much longer heading into the new year. The organisation has spent a hell of a lot of money to put together this team, and if they don't get the results early Im sure they will pull the pin on Kid. Ill give them a few more weeks for Deron Williams to return but for now I think they are a team to bet against, especially on B2Bs
Houston
Pretty much my No. 1 team to ride this season in terms of sports betting. This team seems to have alot of determination this year to get a solid winning record under their belts and challenge for a high seed in the playoff rankings. A massive under rated key to this team is Parsons, the guy can play. With so much attention riding on Hardens beard and Howard, Parsons is a great go to guy for Houston's offence. It was fairly evident how much the team missed him when he sat out Mondays game against Utah. The result was Hardens work load almost doubled. Houston had offensive swagger last year so its not a surprise that its still apparent this year, but what has changed is the teams defence. Having Howard on the team is a massive plus. I know everyone hates on him because he misses free throws, but the guy can defend, and in most games this year his free throw shooting hasn't been too bad. I think Houston will go relatively uncontested this month until they play Indiana and San Antonio later in December, the upcoming games against Golden State will be great games to watch.

Cleveland @ Orlando
Cleveland have had some really good form of late going 4/5. I know they struggle on the road but Orlando represents a great chance to overcome their road woes. The big point of difference between these two sides is the PG position. Although Nelson is all class and a great leader, he will not be able to stop the faster and younger Irving. As Cleveland plays very little defense on the road (usually giving up over 100 points, I’m also going to take a stab at the over in this game. I have the game set at 105-99.

Best day Ive had in a long time. Was pretty confident on all the games today especially the Minnesota and Spurs over which went perfectly to plan. Houston @ SAC

I don't trust either side against the spread in this matchup. Rudy Gay had a really good game in his first game with Sacramento, and the team will be looking to build on his first performance. The Sacramento lineup scares me because although they are a pretty young and unpredictable side, they have the weapons to beat almost any team if things go their way. One thing you can bank on is this will be a high scoring game, Sacramento give up heaps of points, and Houston is the No.1 PPG team in the competition. Generally when a young inexperienced team like Sacramento plays against a high paced team like Houston, Sacramento will match the same pace offensively leading to a high scoring game.
Minnesota @ Memphis

Its hard to watch Memphis at the moment, they have lost so much fire power. They were looking like a team who could push for the NBA title last season but since loosing Rudy Gay, they haven't looked the same in my opinion. Now you have Marc Gasol out with a long term injury, and trade rumours around Zac Randolph, the whole team seems to be falling apart. Minnesota have a bad record against Memphis, however most of those games were played without Rubio and without Love (AND Memphis would have also had Gay and Gasol playing). The books have severally under judged this one.
