Cleveland have had some really good form of late going 4/5. I know they struggle on the road but Orlando represents a great chance to overcome their road woes. The big point of difference between these two sides is the PG position. Although Nelson is all class and a great leader, he will not be able to stop the faster and younger Irving. As Cleveland plays very little defense on the road (usually giving up over 100 points, I’m also going to take a stab at the over in this game. I have the game set at 105-99.
Cleveland +2.5 X 2 Units to win 1.8 Units
OVER 194.5 X 1 Unit to win .90 Units
Philly @ Toronto
Although Gay hasn’t been his usual performer this year, he is a big loss to Toronto. It will be interesting to see how the new group go in their first match together. I think Philly +8.5 is great value considering the new rotation that Toronto has. It will be a big experimental match and Philly will be looking to take advantage and secure a win.
Philly +8.5 X 1.5 Units to win 1.35 Units
LA @ OKC
Both high scoring teams, with upbeat tempo. Lakers searching for a win, Kobe trying to prove a point and OKC waiting to shut them down. I love the over in this game, especially seeing as Lakers are without an official point guard. Both teams regularly putting up over 100 points
Over 208 X 2 Units to win 1.8 Units
Memphis @ NO
NO -4 X 1 Unit to win .90 Units
Minnesota @ SA
OVER 208 X 4 Units to win 3.6 Units
Kings @ Phoenix
OVER 210 X 1 Unit to win .90 Units
NY @ Boston
Boston -3.5 X 1.5 Units to win 1.35 Units
Houston @ Golden State
Golden State have not been themselves without Iguodala, particularly on the defensive end. Curry has been a beast lately owning every single game, however he can’t keep it up forever. Houston coming off a loss against Portland will be looking to bounce back.
Houston +3.5 X 2.5 Units to win 2.25 Units
