Why are the Nuggets not getting the love?

Team goes to the Western Conference finals last year, adds a point guard like Ty Lawson to back up Billups and yet they are still arent considered one of the top two teams in the West.

Spurs made a couple nice acquisitions in Richard Jefferson and the rook Dejuan Blair from Pitt.

This Denver team is doing something they arent used to in the past, and thats winning playoff series, and winning on the road.

I will take the Nuggets over the Spurs no problem, because Denver is deeper and frankly more talented than the Spurs

its because teams that make trades or sign big-name players automatically take a big step up in the publics eyes compared to teams that don't make trades. they don't consider team cohesion and having a full training camp together, and how good lawson is, and internal improvement. "omg! they got andre miller! that'll definitely add 5 wins, he's so much better than steve blake!" doesn't work that way. and dallas/portland/lakers/spurs have all made moves, so they're talked about.

denvers probably still not big enough to compete with the lakers in a playoff series, but they should still win/cover a heck of a lot of regular season games and make it far in the playoffs again.
