    New Programs for Data Keeping?

    Hi Everyone,

I'm John, from Colorado, still new to this forum, amateur bettor. I bet NBA. What programs do bettors use these days? I use Numbers on Mac (like excel) to keep track of things. It's easy to size things up and make charts/graphs if necessary. Thanks ahead for any advice.

Check out handicappers think tank intro to research thread, SQL database is best if you wanna deal with programming. Also the book baseball hacks has a section on scraping/building database. The concepts apply to any sport though. SBR is mostly ridiculousness so it might take fine searching to find useful info.

I'm new here as well, and read the intro to research thread which was really insightful.
