Atlanta is a much better team this year than last and Cleveland is slightly worse than last year, but **** all that Clevelands guards aint gonna be able to stop this years 6th man of the year in Jamal Crawford. He is too lengthy for west, williams or gibson or parker. Horford is young and agile and should be a presence down low due to his much greater athletic ability than fat shaq. I see Burger King and his cronies gettin rocked tonight in Atlanta.

    Atlanta -2 (-120)*
Good luck to you tonight Kid but I'll be strongly on the other side of this one. No team is hotter right now than the Cavs. Their record is very deceiving as it took Mike Brown about 15 games to really figure out how to use all his new pieces. This team is far superior to last year's and has much more depth. They've been getting more than 30 ppg off the bench for the last 10-15 games which takes a ton of pressure off Bron.

While I agree that Jamal Crawford will be a tough matchup, I think Mo Williams will be even worse for the Hawks. I expect to see him drop another 25 or so on Bibby tonight. Furthermore, don't expect to see Atlanta get anything easy inside as Shaq/Z/Andy/Hickson have been doing an amazing job defensively as of late.

Should be a great game to watch, but I think Cleveland takes this one by 5-7.

What do the Cavs gotta do to earn some respect from you? I tend to like your reasoning for most picks, but you seem to have a bias against the Cavs.

By the way, nothing personal at all here, I love arguing basketball.

Dude your wrong, I like Cleveland. I do respect them but my respect for them definitely decreased with the addition of Shaq, you guys dont need him at all to go all the way and win it all in fact I think he hinders your chances a little. I do call LeBron Burger King but thats for fun, dude if I would of been posting last year you would know I wanted your Cavs to go all the way so bad man, that is genuine and true. I know if Cleveland got past Orlando they would of beat LA. Look at my thread I have taken you guys a lot this year and rarely got screwed, I just think this is such a bigger game for Atlanta than Cleveland and I feel I will have the refs on my side tonight.

Certainly makes sense. I like that reasoning a lot better than trying to say Atlanta is the better team.

By the way, while Shaq certainly has his downfalls there are a few things to keep in mind:
    - He is providing much more production than Ben Wallace/Sasha Pavolic did last year, so he's essentially a free upgrade
    - The Cavs have never had anyone who can bang down low, which is an absolute must against Perkins/Howard/Bynum
    - Z is getting old and can't play more than 25 minutes a game anymore, plus coming off the bench allows him to play in longer stretches (about 12-14 minutes at a time), which is great for a shooter
    - While Shaq's production is at an all-time low, he can still draw fouls like no other big man in the league which can be a great strategy early on
    - Finally, Shaq having the ball in the post frees up Lebron for some off-ball basket cuts, which he has never been able to do before

Really, I think it just took Mike Brown a while to figure out how to best use all his new toys (plus factor in that Mike Brown is slower than most when it comes to offense). Most importantly, the Cavs now have a bench that is 5 deep, 6 deep when Powe returns, that is providing 20-35 points a game which was always their biggest weakness.

There fixed it for you bud. The Lakers werent going to be denied last year Kobe was on a mission. The league didnt want JAmes to get burned in the finals again. The Cavs are looking great this year and I believe they are better than last year. I just think that i might pass on this game , see the result and then bet accordingly for tomorrow's game.

Oh yea, williams I think since Bostons injuries you guys will be the number 1 seed in the East with homecourt through the eastern conference finals and will represent the east in the NBA finals so I definitely do respect the Cavs.

I think it was a team effort. Ariza played great and I think Kobe was pretty good. Gasol played strong against howard and Odom was on fire

I agree with wolves +11. they aren't that bad with love back in the lineup. I know the cavs have looked great lately but I think atlanta has something to prove and they have proven that they don't give up. Just my .000002 cents

Gasol played damn good in the finals but the reason i think Kobe was MVP, other then the fact that he's Kobe, is that when there were points in the game where the Lakers really a basket to either stay in the game or maintain momentum, he was coming through like none other. and i'm not talking about just at the end of the game. Throughout.

Just flat out took a bashing tonight. Gonna take a break for at least a week after tonight. Hawks go the first 8 min of thr fourth without even makin so much as a ft, when shit like that happens to you its time to take a break. Congrats Williams.

Thank you sir. Hey, one bad loss is no reason to walk away. You've been winning at a pretty good clip, just keep doing what you're doing.

I realize most of what I said probably comes off as me being a homer, but I watch every single minute of every Cavs game and in the last 2 weeks or so they have been damn impressive. I can't wait to see the line for tomorrow.

Well Im a true degenerate I only took a break from posting went on a 5-0 run and was like its the posting plays im ****in myself up. Then 1-1-3 night last night. Not gonna add any of those to my record as they werent posted one p[lay so far I really like. Boston will struggle to score with their injuries but they will still be playing good defense.

    Toronto/Boston under 195 (-120)

Gotta go tally up the losing I did before not posting for a couple days.
