Can The Heat Handle The Pressure?

When it comes to anticipating the outcome of the next game or two, nothing matters but this can- will Heat team play its best game of the season? "can it do that again"? It will only remember the celebration, and the only number that matters: the “1” that the players point to the sky. For all their talk about sacrifice and selflessness to be taken seriously, Heat needs to give everything now – not for fans or media, but for each other and their shared legacy. If that’s not sufficient against these Spurs,"so be it." If it is, history won’t care that they lost seven games on the way to the title, that they sometimes looked sluggish and sloppy in doing so,that injuries to several NBA stars cleared the path. It won’t care about the statistics they produced or defied in the process. It doesn’t matter now that they won 27 straight,or that James romped to the MVP, or that Wade and Chris Bosh posted their most efficient seasons in Spoelstra’s innovative system, or that Shane Battier shot better than ever, or that Mario Chalmers and Norris Cole made some strides,or that Ray Allen fit in seamlessly, or that Chris Andersen energized a locker room and community. All that matters now is being their absolute best, when it matters the absolute most.Otherwise, this team won’t matter, historically. My Bet This Evening Heat -6 1/2 at home with a must win situation
