    96 bulls vs 2013 heat

1996 bulls vs 2013 heat, Who wins in a 7 game series?
Different rules, different era -is it even fair to compare the 2 teams? Proll not but hey this is sbr and we all have opinions so why not. I grew up watching that bulls team and IMO the 96 bulls have a slight advantage with their defense. I can see jordan, pippen, and harper causing problems for wade and bron. Rodman and H. Grant vs bosh and haslem/birdman? I give the edge down low to the bulls as well, 96 bulls points allowed per game 92. 2013 heat points allowed per game 95, more talent in the league now? Mabe but I still give the slight edge to the bulls in this matchup, it is pretty damn close and we will never truly know unless I get my hands on a time machine. Who is ur $ on?

Rodman vs Lebron would be fun to watch. Lebron vs MJ when Bulls had possession would be intriguing too. Those Bulls played in a much faster paced era. These Heat might get gassed and fade in 4th vs that

Ho Grant wasn't on the bulls in '96, he was on the magic.

Not even a contest. Just look at the matchups. The heat do not matchup well on either end of the court.

No Heat hate, but 96 Bulls. You have to keep in mind that they were the best of the 90s Bulls champs. Jordan, Harper, Pippen could all play and guard positions 1 through 3. Rodman leading the league in rebounding. Kukoc off the bench at 6'10 and athletic playing multiple positions. Kerr solid PG play off the bench. Add to the talent probably the best coach. It's no wonder they went 72-10 with a 13 point avg differential.

Luc Longley and Bill Wennington are in my top 15 Bulls of all time. I still love listening to Wennington on the Bulls radio network.

Just seeing how frustrated Lebron gets with the "physicality" of the 2013 bulls. He would crack playing against the 96' bulls.

Hellz ya! Luke and Bill are classics, they just don't build em like that anymore. I am semi-surprised no one backing the heat yet, I guess we can pretty much put this one to bed!

    I'd say 2013 Heat.

Michael Jordan would have gotten posterized against Lebron

    bulls blowout

bulls teams with Jordan would not have lost one and almost two games at home to an injured, crippled , tired team

With ref's from the 96' era.. King James would probably quit midgame after pouting too much. Bulls would eat them alive.

If this series was played with the basketball rules in the 90's and before that, when it was not a pussified game like it is now?

The Bulls would win of course. Youngin's these days need to stop thinking Lebron will ever come close to comparing to Jordan. Jordan is and always will be the greatest athlete of all time with Ali taking second place, Lionel Messi is at #3 IMO right now and who knows where he will end up. Also Pippen (also known as the guy who passed Jordan the ball) and Rodman would eat Wade and Bosh alive.

The Heat wouldn't beat the 96 Sonics. Gary Payton would talk so much shit Lebron would run home crying. Remember this is the same Lebron who was up 2-0 to the Mavs and lost!

I don't think this Heat team beats any of the 6 Bulls Championship teams, and certainly not the best one.

Heat won't even beat 96 Sonics. I would love to see Kemp posterizing LeBron then points finger at him. Bam!

You still haven't figured out that they weren't up 2-0? Anyway, of course this thread degenerated into garbage. Now the 96 Sonics are beating the Heat. Heat have no answers for Nate McMillan.

Continuing to argue a point that was never even valid in the first place. I love this site.

I can't believe anyone would even start this thread.

I would like to know the ages of some of the posters that think this Heat team is an all-time great team because they obviously didn't watch much of those Bulls teams.

This Heat team has it easy. All of the teams that could possibly challenge them suffered significant injuries.

It will be no surprised that the Spurs or Grizzlies will give them everything they want.

I started the thread to put some of the Heat love to rest, they had a pretty good season and now everyone wants to compare lebron to jordan. Looks like mostly everyone is on the same page though so ya mabe not the best thread for a debate, but it is nice to get validation.

Lots of incorrect information in this thread. Wade is the ace card in the matchup. If gimpy no shot, if motivated and healthy heat win a few games.

Those Lakers teams with Kareem, Worthy, Magic, Byron Scott, Michael Cooper, etc. would have beat the Bulls teams in 7 game series. They also would have mopped the floor with the Heat.
