You will see a much crisper offense tonight as players spot up in open passing lanes without the ball. It's going to be all high pick and roll with parker or manu at the top of the key and duncan/splitter/diaw as the big.
The Spurs as we have mentioned in the past are just a small team in general. They are getting bullied down low by Bogut. Thompson is a key weapon in this series but you have to expect pop to put an emphasis on Green or Leonard stopping this kid. He is no threat inside the paint and not athletic enough to create plays for others.
Without the presence of Lee for 30 min a game, I just don't see how GS will win this series. Greene out of MSU is not a viable option. This guy will break down mentally sooner or later, especially on the offensive end when his 3 stops falling. As we witnessed in the first two games the guy is straight swiss cheese when it comes to closing out a game and gets nervous like all average rookie players. This guy being in the game in the last 3-4-5 min is a recipe for disaster, and we saw that in game1, and nearly, in game2.
Landry, rather, should be taking those minutes. But Jackson thinks he's found a better floor-stretcher at the 4.
Jarred Jack has been playing great in this series but he has failed to really get inside the paint. He settling for that contested midrange jumper too much and Pop is going to start defending with a lot more pressure.
The only guys on state you have to worry about are Curry and Bogut in this series. Curry can't be defended 1 on 1 by any of the spurs perimeter players but the size of Green and Leonard and the feistiness of Parker are gonna wear down his legs in the 4th quarter of this game.
