    i don't think so... i noticed this trend first when kevin Garnett won it in Minny...
    presented with trophy.. spanked by Lakers..

    same with Steve Nash... i think he lost both of those as well..

    it could be a psychological factor.. the player wants to appear humble, and not piggish
    and indulgent especially on that day.. so he tones it down, tries to look non-chalant

    Yeh Lebron is not the only one but it is always a home game usually against a worse team so it is pretty crazy. I remember when David Robinson got MVP Olajuwon embarassed him.
