    I just make 1 deposit a month if I'm not spending it elsewhere. If I lose then I wait a month or whatever to try again. Some people can't make 1 bet or have just 1 drink at all. You just have to know if you're disciplined enough to stick with it. For me....not gambling at all is ridiculous. I bought my house w/online poker money from the poker boom....otherwise no way I have a big house by myself. Nobody was going to stop me from the Packers playoff run a few years ago....it was like printing money.

    Gotcha ... so you gotta educate yourself to do that ...
    Well, not having money in the book (withdraw it) is one way to do that...

    I need to use UK bookmakers and set "cooling off" after placing a bet for 7 days or so, so even if I want I would need to wait before I can bet ... I think without these tools I'm worthless ....

    All-ins are NEVER a good play against someone with a bigger bankroll than you. They can lose and they're fine....they can lose multiple times and they're fine. You lose once and you're done. Sports betting can make money but only with discipline.

    You're fine. Everyone is on the Pacers nuts because they looked good game 1 and Knicks shots weren't falling, so of course same thing will happen tonight (recency bias). But Pacers are not a great road team, got blown out twice in Atlanta, so chances they win two on the road is remote. Knicks win, and if the shots are falling they do it by double digits.
