..it's obvious that Coach "Popovich" wanted to face the Lakers... bad

look how EASY this is..!! *the Spurs are NOT EVEN breaking a sweat...!!!
    WHO WOULDN'T WANT THE LAKERS??

WOULD YOU RATHER FACE THE ROCKETS?? (who almost beat OKC IN OKLAHOMA Game 2)

or the sorry ass, 1000 yr; old Lakers?

    April 14th SAS @ Lakers:
    http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400278921

Parker 29 minutes... no Ginobili (claimed injured)
Tony Parker was clearly throwing the game.. 1-10 shooting.
guy was barely running, jogging actually.

    April 24th SAS @ Lakers: GAME 2
    http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400278921

SAS did not want to go 7 Games with HOUSTON...

far better to go 4-5 with Lakers
EVEN if they had home court vs. OKC

Thunder in a 6 gamer with Rockets
hard fought. Why face Rockets when you can face the Lakers?

it cracks me up.. that Lakers fans watched that game and did not understand it at all...

they ACTUALLY THOUGHT: "SEE!?!? *I KNEW IT... we can handle the Spurs in a series"

    lol... that's very funny....

not that he was tricking them... but if the Spurs beat LA on the 14 of April...

then SAS is stuck playing a Rockets team that is MUCH faster and high-powered than the Lakers..

i know LA beat them in finale... but in a series the Rockets are a much tougher opponent..
    far younger, far quicker...

You're saying they threw a game, the way the Chinese badminton team throws games so they can get an easier run to the final.

i actaully thought the lakers had a real chance to beat the spurs
but that was based on parker + ginobili's health, but looks like they are fine
another thing was the strategy of feeding dwight and gasol all day long, doesnt look like the case either

bad coaching + improved spurs health + injured lakers roster = likely quick exit for lakers

the injuries are because they are too old.. 82 games vs. 20- somethings.. then playoffs!??!
