    Boston/Philly

Paul Pierce is out tonight and for about 2 weeks ... Boston at -2.5 may be a stretch.

I guess that is the justification for the line, plus Miller is showing up for PHI presumably. Still, this opponent would seem to be right in the Celts' wheelhouse -- they have been dispatching better teams than this lately with PP admittedly playing well but doing nothing all that extraordinary that I can see.

But I know you are on the scene, kdm.

I heard this earlier this morning, but thanks for sharing this info with the forum... Tis appreciated as always bud.

Even though Pierce is out I still feel the Celtics are the right play in this game. Philly has just quit on Mo Cheeks, and it clearly shows it by the way they make the simple mistakes that shouldn't be made.

    Good to know Kdm. Thanks.

I still think the Celtics win this game. Philly has packed it in.

I didn't know it at the time of this thread, but Wally Szczerbiak was out also ... Found that out about 10 min before game time ... That's 44 ppg out and the Celtics were a -2.5 ... It showed in the final score with Boston getting beat by 15.
