Now that I look at it I wish I followed my instinct and taken the game at -15 or even more. The players were not going to let up until the end for reasons you can understand.
In other games, like today against Croatia, when they have a huge lead they let off the gas and the opponent lowers the difference. With FYROM they were just not going to do it.
Now, just suppose , they give Israel the game tomorrow. It will keep FYROM from advancing into the next round.
Sorry, I logged out last night after my last post and I just saw your answer.
After getting a draw with Moldavia tonight in extra time we have to win the next game against Latvia in Greece. I can't believe we couldn't score more than one goal against Moldavia! They had it coming to them. The ball "punishes" you if you're not careful. Greece wasted a great chance tonight because Switzerland also had a draw 2-2. 2 lost points for Greece. Now they are tied for second place with Latvia. If they are careful they can advance.
Also if the coach Rehagel decides to give other strikers the chance to play instead of keeping Charisteas in the game for 90 minutes then we might see something happening.
By the way, Greece kicked ass in basketball again tonight beating Israel!
