Would Damian Lillard be No. 1 pick if we redo the 2012 draft ?

One of the best draft classes in the last decade. If you had to re-draft again, how would you choose?

    1. Damian Lillard
    2. Anthony Davis
    3. Bradley Beal
    4. Dion Waiters
    5. Andre Drummond
    6. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
    7. Harrison Barnes

Lilliard is a great pick but there was no way Davis wasn't going first and has played well despite injuries. Guards obviously have the ball in there hands a lot more and with Aldridge being the only real scorer for Portland it gave lilliard more of an opportunity to show off his talents. So circumstance aside I think Davis is still number 1 pick.

    Rest are irrelevant.

I wouldn't call this one of the best draft classes in the last decade

the only 3 from this draft class I could see being consistently good is Lillard, Beal and Anthony Davis. Barnes, MKG, Waiters will continue to be role players probably bouncing from team to team

Some will be good NBA role players. Ross from Toronto will be a solid role player for years to come if they develop him properly.

I still think Anthony Davis would go number 1, but it depends on the team drafting. That's not necessarily saying Davis os the better player, but both guys have a ton of talent and have immense potential. Then I would say Brad Beal. After them, I do see Dion Waiters being a legitimate player in the NBA and maybe Andre Drummond in a few years. The dude is like 20 years old so he still has so much room for growth.

I agree, but like I said, I think it depends on the team drafting. I don't think a team like the Lakers would pass on Lillard given their guard play aside from Kobe.

    no

no one would pass up on davis between the two

brandon jennings was a similar player in his rookie year....guys like him come along every couple of years

if davis is a complete bust he'll still end up being at worst a tyson chandler type

    You're comparing Lillard to Jennings?

I do think Davis ends up being a star in the league though.

this draft class is nothing special

only 1 potential all-time great in Lillard

no one else can be all time great

2003 greats - lebron, wade, mello

    2004- dwight

    2005- d will, cp3

    2006- Rondo.

    2007- Durant

    2008- Rose
    Tier 2: Love, Westbrook

2009- Potentials: Blake Griffin, Harden, Evans, Rubio, Curry, Jennings, Holiday

2010: Potentials: Wall, Cousins, Monroe, Paul George

    2011: Kyrie Irving

2012: Potentials: Lillard, David, Gilchrest, Beal?

I think that 2012 might be the WORST draft class of the past decade....

Kyrie Irving is much better than Lillard...all those other early draft class from 03 04 05 06 and 07 alraedy have guaranteed 1st ballot hall of famers.

Are you kidding me, Anthony Davis doesn't have potential to be an all-time great? Brad Beal doesn't have potential to be an all-time great? Waiters, Barnes, and Kidd-Gilchrist don't have potential to be all-time greats?

Based on impact so far I think it would go in this order. Dion Waiters can BALL. Anyone who doesn't think that kid has potential clearly hasn't seen him play. Problem is he plays alongside Kyrie who is an unbelievable talent.

    1. Lillard
    2. Waiters
    3. Beal
    4. Davis
    5. Barnes
    6. Drummond
    7. Kidd-Gilchrist
