    Assuming Melo is definitely not playing???

    Theres no other reason that the line would go from 3 to 8.5, unless Vegas knows he's out. I want to bet on this game, but without knowing melos status for sure, not sure what to do. Anyone have any inside info on melos deal, if hes playing or not? Again if I had to guess Id say he's not, because of that line movement.

    I wouldn't make a bet until 7:45 eastern if you're betting for the Knicks. Thats probably when you'll know if Melo is out or not. If he's out line will move further.

    more likely to go under without carmelo cause you lose the offense but whoever replaces him will probably play better defense whoever it may be.

    But i think it's possible the books already took the fact carmelo would be out under consideration.
