Jazz -300
You know, if we were investing in the market or at a bank and getting a $1 return on every $3, we'd take it in a heartbeat.
I don't ever really lay chalk like this, but I'm tempted by this number. A 30 unit bet ($600 for me) yields 10 units. Obviously there is a risk -- especially given it's the NBA -- but this is mighty temping....
I like Utah but you know better than to lay chalk like this in the NBA pal.

I agree with this, Jazz will probably win, but there are much better games to bet on. Take Blackhawks for instance...they're 15-0 right now and they're only -180 at home, if you're really that eager to risk your money on something I'd say do it on something like that. Celtics are an unpredictable team and due for a win.
The Jazz aren't a great team. They're tough at home but on the other side Boston is a desperate team right now.
I realize that it's a bad spot for the Celtics but I watched Utah stink it up at home against Bulls team that can't score and then I saw them lose to the Kings.
Most likely they win, but I wouldn't pay -300 here with the Celtics coming off consecutive losses.
The market analogy is not the way to look at it. -300 means 75% chance of the jazz winning. Do you really think it is higher than that? Personally I give them at most 70% chance= no bet here for me

The fact that Utah is not a solid team, puts value on the Celtics ML IMO. Boston needs to make shots and keep up with Utah, then have one of it's bigs finish the game.
Eventhough its a good bet, I'd still find something to parlay it with - Denver ML would be best.

Denver M-line is a better bet, Lakers coming off a B2B and they will be playing at high altitude against a denver team which rarely loses at home. However imo i see the jazz blowing out the celtics. Celtics have no front court besides garnett & wilcox. The teams jazz lose to are teams that have better rebounding/front court ie (bulls = noah & boozer, Kings = Thompson & Cousins).

Wizzle I think it's more the principal of the matter, some games only hold value up to a certain number/price, after that there's kinda no point. Although, if me I would've jumped on the -300 long before I bothered to make this threadno way im missing out on a huge play because I was going back and forth on sbr.

Add Denver ML in a parlay. no need to get ass rammed by -300 landers style

Millsapp rolled his ankle, but he's back in the game. ML is hovering around -200 despite Jazz being down. I think the books are taking into consideration the fatigue very well.

You're wagering 600 to win 200 and you would be sweating it right now because your team was losing straight up in the third quarter. I would never lay that kind of juice and if I did, it would be a the Heat or Spurs, not a Utah team that recently lost at home to Chicago and to the Kings.
Boston +7 was a better bet than Utah ML.
I could see laying major juice on a bet like Heat last year in Game 7 of the ECF because there was no way they weren't winning that game but besides that I can't imagine ever taking a big juicy fave on the ml in the nba let alone the utah fukking jazz.

They will come home strong and the Celtics will fade. Wouldn't surprise me to see the Jazz win but after that third quarter I can't touch it.
