Thoughts on Brooklyn, NYK and Portland

I kind of like all three of these plays, would just like to hear some feedback.

I'll take Brooklyn as a home dog anyday against Memphis, even without Joe Johnson. I still think Memphis is way overrated, and I think they fall off at some point in the 2nd half of this season.

Everything here points to a Knicks blow out. Coming off 4 straight losses, Phili coming off a b2b against Miami last night.

Portland is simply a value play. I was surprised the line was as low as it was, but I think Portland should be able to cover it. They have the Celts outmatched at nearly every position, and Portland typically plays well at home on weekends.

    Thoughts on these plays.

Like Cavs alot tonight and my 2 leans are Brooklyn and Portland! Not sure I can touch the Knicks right now even against the offensively challenged 6ers on a b2b. Good winnin Speedy!

I like the Brooklyn and NYK plays, although as a huge Knicks fan, I would be terrified taking them in this game, they have looked like the worst team in the NBA these last few games and its a tough line to cover. I like Boston but I'm staying away from the Portland game. I'm with you on BKN though.

Agreed, it is hard to take the Knicks, but this looks like a great bounce back spot for them. Phili can't handle the size of Chandler and Amare, and they don't really have anyone who can guard Melo.

I'm going to pass on the Cavs. If Miami gives 100% effort they can win by 20+, but who knows how much Miami cares tonight.

Yeah I have several angles on Cavs I like. You very well could be right it's alot of points to lay at MSG but could get real ugly if Knicks are dominating the boards, draining there 3's , and Melo is being aggressive hitting his jumpers and driving to the hole... maybe a 104-85 type game?!?

Don't forget that NY got their asses handed to them the last time they played Philly.

Craptors kicked Knicks asses twice. Revenge angle doesn't work on Knicks. If they put some effort in defending, they should win.

Like Blazers. A decent team at home, should have a good chance at winning.

Looks like the Memphis and Nets game is about to be a blowout. This Nets team look like they might rollover again and lose by 20.

Lol typical over reaction to an early NBA game. It's 14-9 now bro. Chill, they've only played like 6 minutes of the game.

You didn't hear? NBA games are decided in the first 5 minutes of a game.

Thanks, I decided to opt for the ML at -120 rather than the spread. I think Boston melts down here in the 2nd half of the season.

Yes, I agree on Boston, however it won't be a secret after a few games and there won't be any value in fading them. I may do a unit on Por second half as well.

Nets might pull it out, but they got to hit free throws and stop turning it over. Nets so far have played 3 bad quarters of offense. Hopefully they can get hot in the 4th.

Yeah I got the Nets and Blazers for a little. Hit my big one in pro and did well in college so some late icing would be nice!

Unreal Nets what a choke job. This team is so over-rated and do not get the most out of their talent. Just another good team that cannot be great cause they dont know how to do it right!

Unreal, two choke jobs on the spread by both Brook and NY

Nets were up 4 or 5 with just about 3 minutes left. Couldn't even cover the spread as a dog. I can't stand Brooklyn. Bunch of losers on that team, can't believe their owner thinks he is building a team that can compete with Miami.

Bullshit cover there by memphis. Nets choked a little but refs fukked up big time.

That no call on DWill was awful. The home team and star player can't get an obvious foul call with the game on the line?

Nets can blame the refs for the no call but when you are up 72-67 with underv3 mins and you go scoreless on you next 6 possessions... Unreal... A lot of blame to go around...

Sloppy play by Nets and some bad officiating but you could just sense the backdoor in MSG coming. Let the sorry 6ers hang around that # all 2h and would'nt pull away. Hopefully we cash the Jailblazers Speedy

He got clobbered. Allen was never even touched down the other end.
