Is Brooklyn Nets Darren Williams overrated?

Without a good coach like Jerry Sloan, this guy is garbage.

He's not a top pg this season. Was at the game last night. Tony Parker absolutely dominated that matchup.

Most NBA players drop off after getting a big contract. Look at Ilyasova, and Charlie V

DWill has played fine- led BKN to a playoff spot, noone expected them to be contenders

you must be crazy if you think Kyrie is better than him. Rose and Parker definitely better than him but the other 2 on the other hand are open to discussion.

hes overrated and nets suck. they NEVER push the ball up the court. they can have a 3 on 1 break and they'll back it up so Joe can go iso.

Kyrie is way better than Deron Williams. He isn't as strong, physically as Dwill. He is a better shooter, penetrater, scorer. Also, D will couldn't guard Chauncy Billups

You don't remember Sloan and his issues with coaching him? Sloan couldn't reel in this punk and Utah celebrated when he left town. Anyone remember DWill berating a rookie on the court? He might be good, be he will NEVER be on a championship team. You can't win with his style of play.

I bet he wishes he wouldnt have ran Sloan out of Utah.

Guy is still good but no longer in the conversation as hands down top 3-5 whatever. Plus at this point in league there are differnt types of PGs.

1st Tier: Rose (assuming comes back from injury in pre form), Parker, Westbrook (although different kind), Paul (health Issues aside)

2nd Tier (and climbing): Kyrie, Jrue, Curry, Vasquez, Lawson, John Wall
Curry is going to be dependent on whether he ever shakes the ankle problems or will he become Grant Hill. Wasnt real sure how to classify Vasquez or Wall (for different reasons). Both young and improving but not sure they ever reach that truly elite level.

Rest of 2nd Tier: Rondo, Deron, Rubio,

If given choice today, how many GMs take him over Kyrie or Jrue. Would probalby be a tough choice b/t him and Lawson or Wall even.

Was a time a couple years ago he was debated as whether you would take him or Paul if given chance. Or if your the Atlanta Hawks, you draft Marvin Williams instead of either despite your team having a glaring hole at point guard and already having several athletic wings.

I hate being a Hawks fan.

To Put Rondo that far down is kind of a travesty.

    My list

    1) CP3
    2) Parker
    3) Kyrie
    4) Westbrook
    5) Rondo
    6) Rose (coming off ACL)
    7) Holliday
    8) DWill

    9) would probably be Steph Curry
    10 ) Ty Lawson

    John Wall - too eratic.

He's still the 8th best PG in the league.

Kyrie is already top 3, he will be the best in the league if Cleveland can get a second option.

Teams hard hedge on him and double him, he stays composes, waits and then take a filthy jumper over them. The guy can do it all. He needs to put on some muscle/weight (5-10 lbs) to be able to take the beating in the NBA, but he could very easily be the best in the league in a couple years.

Reminds me of CP3 in N.O. with no help. Was always top 3-5 but couldn't get to best.

That really wasnt in particular order as I had him in the second tier with the rest of them. He will be however, coming off an acl injury, and despite as good as he has had it in Boston still has had several issues with general attitude.

Personally out of 2nd tier Id take Kyrie or Jrue over Rondo and would struggle taking Rondo over a few of those other guys as he will be coming off ACL, has a lot of wear and tear, attitude, and not a great scorer.

Pure distributer/faciliatator though he is probably top 3.

I'd place Steph Curry above Williams.

And IF Rose can recover well from his ACL tear, he should skyrocket to number 2 on that list.

Funny how people put paul so high. Guy has done nothing in his career, yeah yeeah he had no help. Winning makes players elite. Westbrook will end up being the best out of the current crop over the long haul. He is the most explosive and over time will mature and dominate the nba with durant.
