    No one ever thought the Jets had a fair shot at being a superbowl contendor this year, I don't even think Jets fan's thought they'd make the playoffs this offseason. Lakers actually had hopes of making the finals this year and contending for a title. Big difference.

    No, if the Lakers were like the Jets, they would have a player that doesn't even belong in the league taking most of their shots...

    Then, when the season was over, they would blame the bad season on everything but the one player that doesn't even belong in the league...

    Then, this player that doesn't even belong in the league, would start again next year and the same thing would happen all over again...

    Last I checked the lakers were 4 games back and have 3 more losses than the 8 seed... They play 38 more games... Why is every1 counting them out so early?? They're still the Lakers lol

    I think they can catch the teams ahead of them but Dallas and New Orleans will be tough to hold off they have gotten better
