Lakers a miraculous 7-3 their last 10 and still 4 games under 500 and in the 10 seed spot.
Just shows what kind of ball they will have to play to make the play offs, which they arent going to do.
They do have a semi easy schedule coming up their next 20 games though. At the end of that they will have 10 games left, they could make it interesting but I doubt it. Theyre still losing 66% of their road games despite the competition So if they go 7-3 at Home and 4-6 on the road thats 11-9 and still 2 games below 500 (35-37) with 9 games to go.
Gasol being hurt is going to catch up to them eventually, Howard will shut it down a few more times and Kobe will start being Kobe again. So even 11-9 might be very difficult.
At 35-37 how many games will they need to win to make the play offs? How many will they win of those final 9?

Lakers wont make the play offs, but even if they do so what? Just an embarrassment as theyll more than likely get swept out in the first round. All it really does is hurt Phoenix pick they get from L.A. I really want LA to get the lottery and win it and have to give that pick up. Lakers might finish 500 this year. Is that anything to brag about or be happy about if youre an actual Laker fan? I am not sure they do finish that well. Gasol being out is going to catch up with them eventually, theyre playing their asses off right now to beat Charlotte and Phoenix and the worst teams in the league. When ever they play someone close to a winning record they get beat up.
Anyone really want to see the Lakers get blown out 4 straight games by OKC? Even though they will try to spin that "Lakers beat OKC in the regular season"?
