Look for George Mason to cover the big spread tonight at home in the Patriot Center against Florida International.

This is a tough spot for the Golden Panthers. In addition to playing their third straight road game they'll face a talented Patriots squad which figures to be in a nasty mood after losing to Creighton.

Note that George Mason is 11-6 ATS and a perfect 17-0 straight up the last 17 times the Patriots were listed as a home favorite of greater than 12 points. Meanwhile, Florida International is just 11-25-2 ATS and 1-37 straight up the last 38 times they were listed as a road underdog of greater than 12 points.

Both teams played Saturday, something worth mentioning since the Golden Panthers are an ugly 21-42 ATS the last 63 times they played with one or fewer days rest between games. During the same stretch, the Patriots are a healthy 38-25 ATS when playing with the same short rest. Expect a beat-down and consider laying the points.
