They can't beat the Heat when it counts.

Not with the current team, that's for sure. Lebron showed 2 years ago that he can guard Rose one on one in end game situations. The Bulls have no one else that can create a shot for themselves. I feel sorry for Rose as stars have come available and landed elsewhere, while the Bulls brass stands pat.

    what he said.

I'm really hopeful the bulls have a trick up their sleeve with that amnesty provision, however. (see: BOOZER)
Maybe they knew there was no point in going after anything with D-Rose out, and a title isn't a realistic goal this year with D-Rose coming back late in the season probably, with little time to work his way back in to game shape, to gel with his cohorts?

The free agent pool in 2013 isn't as newsworthy as it has been in the past cpl of years, but it is still pretty deep. Tried going thru this list thinking of possible options but I gave up, too time consuming.

Yeah, not happening. Their bench is shit. Noah and Deng will burn out in the postseason with the minutes Thibs needs them to play.

I think they'd take a bag of chips for Boozer. I hope they aren't counting on the Euro kid to save em.

That euro kid has potential to be the next second coming of Dirk. Kid is a stud winning back to back MVPs over in Europe

Bulls are screwed for years to come because they paid BIG money to role players essentially.

I hope you're right, but I will believe it when I see it night in and night out in the NBA.

If they can somehow get Cousins. 1) Rose 2)R. Hamilton 3)L. Deng 4) Noah/Boozer 5) Cousins

How would it be possible to get Cousins without giving up Deng and/or Boozer? Not happening, dude.

Right? We heard the same about Bargnani, Valanciunas, and Teletovic.

The Bulls do not want Cousins in their locker room. And they still wouldn't win a title with him.
