Brandon Jennings has been shooting Deron Williams bad but Monta Ellis lit it up in his last game, I'll take their two guards over the lethargic DWill and Joe Johnson any day. Nets hold the size advantage down low but Brook Lopez has always been put in check by the Bucks. Nets playing a back to back and it's away, gotta take the Bucks in this spot

Ellis did have a good game in the loss to the cav's but Jennings shot like crap and had only 3 assists. The bucks are bi-poler.

nets have been playing terrible the last few games. they simply looked out of place yesterday playing boston, all this iso shit. it looks like their offense just isn't jelling. the bucks are not the greatest defensive team but i think they stick it to the nets tonight on defense, i like the bucks in a close one. bucks do play well at home, the under would be a good play here too as well.

month of December hes shooting 37 percent.
guy has been shit all year had a few good games early but i hope some one offers jennings a huge offer and bucks just let him go. ellis is the guy we need to build around. jennings is one of the smallest guards in the league, its really hard to judge when you just see him on tv. was front row at a bucks game last year the guy is as tall as a middle schooler with the same body frame. its no under why the guy is one of the worst defenders in the league and cant shoot for shit.

they are a good home team, its what 1/4th 1/5th way through the season? just doesn't mean anything. they are 7/6 both on the road and at home. have fun with your meaningless trend stats.

in more important news udrih is coming back tonight so that means less time for ellis and jennings when they start the game 0/5.

    fair enough neverstoppers

we'll agree to disagree on whether those stats mean anything.

bucks were 11-14 ats at home last year (16-13 on road), 18-21-1 the year before (22-19 on road), etc etc

this is actually the 6th year in a row the bucks have a better record (ats) on the road than at home, that doesn't seem too meaningless to me...

I'm telling you. Nets play with a chip on their shoulder tonight after embarrassment yesterday on National TV on Christmas. This is a veteran group and are in almost a must-win situation tonight for several reasons. Buzz is Avery's job is in jeopardy, Deron not liking the playbook, and Hump being removed from the rotation. They come out tonight and play hard. Overall, they are a better team than Milwaukee and that will show tonight.

bucks have beaten the nets 12 straight games. i'm gonna keep playing devil's advocate and ask what makes brooklyn a better team than the bucks?

milwaukee has the better record, beat brooklyn easily in brooklyn, etc etc

the nets are trash point blank period.. im from ny and this team shouldve stayed in jersey where they belong. d williams is not the same since his injury and the nets just havnt jelled as a offense yet. brook lopez averages only 13 pts against the bucks he wont be a factor. over paid joe johnson will get his points im sure but other than that this team is pathetic and overvalued by vegas. as long as vegas keep overvaluing ill keep cashing in on the nets untill they show me more.

Nets started 11-4 and just lost their mojo when lopez got hurt. They will get it going again.

4 reasons to take the Bucks:
    (1) Home court (even if the numbers don't show it, they were 4-1 (SU) and 3-1-1 (ATS) before the ugly lost on the 22nd to CLEV,
    (2) 12 straight ATS Ws vs Nets,
    (3) didn't play well in their last home game as mentioned in #1 (had time to get angry about it over the Christmas break), and
    (4) Nets looked AWFUL yesterday and why would it get any better in BB games??
My opinion, play or fade as you will.

They have 1 straight win vs the nets that means anything. The team is completely different from the last 4 years.

Nets looking awful is the reason to take them. Team looks like crap on national tv, next game line gets hammered to -4, and they come out and play like a different team. Seen it a million times.

I personally wouldn't put a rating on this game (better games out there...ORL, DEN, plus some Ov/Uns). Just providing some 411 for the initial poster.

i give it a 2 star rating the most.. bucks own the nets point blank period and williams wants avery gone clearly.

agreed on the Williams issue; he's also passing up a lot of shots, maybe b/c of his wrist issues?....still, when you're wide open and swing the ball instead of taking the shot, something is up.
