Thoughts on Houston -3.5 vs Toronto Raptors tomorrow?

I know the raptors are coming off of a huge win, but I'm seeing a blow out win for Houston here. I think this line should be at least -5 or -6. What do you guys think??

Lowry left their game on December 10th against the Trail Blazers with a partial tear in his right tricep. He will miss another ten days, making him questionable against the Magic on December 21.

Bargnani left the game on December 10th against the Trail Blazers with a tear in his right elbow, as well as a strain in his right wrist. He will be out an indefinite amount of time as he recovers.

    Both are out

I might go retard and bet on Craptors.
Craps beat the crap out of Mavs the other day and Mavs beat Rockets in Houston.

I see 2.40 ML for Raptors on a site right now I might take.

But then again they might rig the game for that Linsanity money, Toronto is where they milk that.
    I' haven't decided bet yet.

Rockets started slow the last couple of games and I think they might be slow again with the early Sunday game. With Toronto missing a couple of go-to scorers, I'm thinking about taking the under for the 1st half...

Jesus...okay guy lets look at the starting 5 the last time these two teams met over 9 months ago in Toronto:

    Hou:
    Scola
    Parsons
    Samuel Dalembert
    Kevin Martin
    Kyle Lowry

    Tor:
    A. Johnson
    James Johnson
    Aaron Gray
    Jose Calderon
    Demar Derozan

Although I think Hou win I'm not bringing up the rosters to show that Houston is vastly improved I more am saying that the bullshiz "home team has won" angle is as good as counting the number of hairs on McHales nuts to determine who will win.

Have you factored the team changes or just basing your pick on that? Looking closely at this game? lol

Houston should win this one with all the injuries that the Raptors have.

chicago bills proved today jrom u don't need your best players..nets should have won by 10 but don't underestimate homecourt and under siege mentality.Thats why the line is only 4 points

Also factor in that it's an early game. IMO, these early afternoon games are tough. Comes down to who is better prepared to come out with all effort. Both teams banged up but Houston seems like a gift. Since it's the holiday season, I'll take this gift and roll with the offensively- superior Rockets to outscore Toronto by approx 9 pts.

Craptors are always scrappy at home. If I had to, I would go with Houston though.

just to play devil's advocate here since everyone loves the Rockets.... Houston has not won a road game since the second game of the season... they allow the most points per game in the league... they have the 21st best defensive efficiency... Bargnani is having his worst statistical season in 5 years (PER of 12.85 when 15 is avg) and is known as a terrible defender so the Raps are most likely better off without him... Toronto has covered 4 points at home versus Indy, Minny, Dallas and Phoenix and took the Spurs and Jazz to OT before losing

I'd say this line is right and would prob take TOR if it gets up to 5. Guys, Houston is still a young team who turns the ball over constantly and plays pretty bad defense. A 1pm start up in Toronto is a lot of travel and is not going to be a easy game for Houston to get excited for.

2 days to fly from Boston to Toronto sure is a lot of traveling.

Now this is a post not some stupid f**king "home team has won".
I agree that this line is low. I think the Dallas game is an outlier and they just arent that good of a team, but Houston is terrible on the road.

For me, honestly, its so hard to consistently make a profit in the NBA because the guys just don't give a **** most of the time. This line looks juicy so I'm going to take it, there have been a lot harder games to cap. If i lose, so be it, I'm not betting my entire bankroll on this game, but for all the variables and difficulties when it comes to NBA I'll just take an easy one when I see it here.

raptors overachieved like crazy last year when bargani was out for most of the year

raptors fans not looking forward to lowry and esp. bargs coming back

raps have biggest home-road differential in league too
