LeBron will be up there, Lebron is a more complete player than Melo. LeBron gets more assists and rebounds per game and plays a lot better defense. Melo just scores.

Someone has logic, Melo scores a lot of points that's it. Yet, Kobe still leads the league in scoring right now.

    Lebron and KD.

Melo is a good choice. I wouldn't argue about it.

obviously haven't been watching him under Woodson. he's a totally different player. he's completely selling out. hustling like crazy. playing defense. setting the tone. grabbing boards.

    he's no longer "just scoring"

Melo scores a lot...... big deal. Will fade with his team like always in the playoffs. Guy is not nor ever has been a legit "superstar" a lot of hype with a nice stat line. pretty much sums up his NBA career.

of course you point out the 2 assist. if the Knicks make it to the Finals there is no way Melo does not win MVP. but that is a big IF.

The only category Melo is better than LeBron in is scoring. LeBron averages 25, 9, 7, and is the best defender in the league.

Melo averages 28, 7, 2, and is an average defender at best. LeBron > Melo. Also I do watch the Knicks a lot since I'm from New Jersey and get every game. He's playing with motivation and is determined but, don't over react now.

they are 34-11 under him and have had the best defense in the league since he has came in. those are facts. nothing delusional about it.

They are not the best defensive team in the league. They're 10th in the league in points allowed. Very poor rebounding team as well.

Regular season wins don't matter that much in NBA. I'd take Miami in a 7 game series over the Knicks any day of the week.

JR Smith, Amare (when healthy), Kidd, Felton, Novak, Chandler, Shumpert (when healthy), Wallace, I think they'd be at least .500 without Melo. Remember last year when he was out and they went on a run? That's also not even a factor when choosing the MVP. Minnesota Timberwolves without Kevin Love are really really bad, worse than the Knicks without Melo, should Kevin Love get MVP because of that?
