    'Player Performance' Prop Bets Thread

I've decided to set up a thread to track the bets I place on these markets specifically. These picks will include player total points, rebounds, assists etc..

Lightning start from Turner, racked up 11 points after just 1 quarter! Just need 4 more points now for this one to cash. Keep it up Evan!

1-0 +1Unit. If only they all came this easy. Big game from Turner tonight leading the Sixers in scoring with 26 points, just topping his total from their previous meeting with the Celtics on Nov 9th where he hit 25 in another solid outing.

DEN Nuggets @ NY Knicks: Carmelo Anthony UNDER 25.5 points (-120) Risking 1.2Units to win 1Unit.
Tonight will be Melo's first game back since picking up an injury to his middle finger on his none-shooting hand. He's missed a couple of games after taking part in the warmup before the Heat game conceding that he wouldn't be effective as the injury was a hinderence to his off-hand dribbling and ability to catch the ball etc. He would not have wanted to miss the Heat game, so his decision to sit out emphasizes the impact of the injury. Although Melo's back in the lineup tonight I anticipate he will play fewer minutes than usual as i'm not convinced that he's back to full fitness yet and I think it'll take a bit of time for him to regain his rhythm and offensive production. His team-mates have stepped up the last couple of games, especially vs the Heat so I don't think there will be as much emphasis or pressure on Melo to drop 30+ points tonight to carry the team on offense. Therefore I think the chances of him having a highly productive game tonight offensively are reduced with all these factors considered, so I see some value in backing the Under here (also with the added possibility that he could re-aggrevate the injury during the game, forcing him to sit for longer periods or leave the game early etc.)
