Dwight Howard is a useless NBA player
Lakers should never have gotten this bum. He stinks period. HE has no offensive game whatsoever. HE stinks at free throws and he does not pay attention to what is happening out there. The last few games i have seen this idiot looking at the crowd while coaches are telling him the next offensive setup. On top of that he misses a free throw with an airball and starts laughing about it. This guy is a bum and he will amount to nothing.
Goat Milk has 270 hours of film on Dwight's mustache....GM says it's best stache in the league.

guy took an otherwise lottery team to the Nba Finals. His offensive game could definitely use some improvement however when he has a size advantage inside he dominates. Not much can be done about the free throw shooting. Would love to see him sign for Brooklyn in the summer however I think he signs a long term deal with the Lakers and wins at least 2 more titles before Kobe retires.

From a basketball standpoint I have never liked him. He grabs a lot of boards and blocks shots but he lacks post moves and always seemed like a guy who just wanted to bull defenders over. Most importantly though he's a goof.

Dwight is 1 of a kind player.. athletic freak, defensive player of the year.. Ulove him or hate him, he's great at both ends but slows the game down a lot with his free throws.. laker games are awful to watch

If they fed him the ball low post on 90% of plays for the 1st 3quarters of the game (before hack a shaq goes in affect) lakers would dominate.

I would take Gasol over Howard any day of the week
Gasol can actually shoot and get assists. When Gasol first played with the Lakers, holy shit he was impressive.

hell ya, Kings hacked him in the backcourt and made him free throw the whole night dwight couldnt even get to the paint without getting fouled. Kinda like the Hack-a-Shaq a few years back...usually goes 1 for 2 at the line with the occasional 2 for 2...why have him slam it where you hack him and make him free throw it all night
I agree. People act as if the Lakers made this huge step up by acquiring Howard and trading Bynum. I don't really see it. Bynum really stepped up his play last season and when he is healthy is just as much the player as Howard. He is one of those individuals with the athletic ability but the poor attitude which equalizes it.
They're both 11-year-old kids trapped in the bodies of monstrous big men. Not sure how anything has changed.

dwight loves to hard foul the rebounder before the ball comes down. he needs to make it less obvious and the refs will let you do that, but he does it in a stupid way, like just pushing him out of bounds really hard. refs call him on it all the time.
and that is why the Lakers aren't really better off. Yeah Howard is less Injury prone but being he's more costly so it evens out.

That Lakers/Kings game has to be one of Dwight's worst games of his career. He was held down to only 2 points in the first half but calls himself superman? The dude is a joke. You can tell the team lacks chemistry as a whole.
The problem is the dynamic. Take Kobe away and put a healthy Nash on the floor and watch Howard shine. Nash would feed him the ball where he deserves to get it.
Lakers are gonna realize something... Either Dwight is the "future after Kobe" as I believe is their current plan or they don't make the playoffs this year and Kobe comes back next year to give it another try and they quickly realize this just won't work as they struggle through the 2013/14 season.

I prefer him over Bynum
Howard single handedly carried a team to an NBA finals. Bynum will be lucky to carry a team to a playoffs. That's all you need to know.
