    Now that Brown is fired...

Is this what it had to take for the lakers to re-ignite themselves? Something in me tells me yes. Ive seen about 3 of their games and the team looks dysfunctional ( Badly coached). Reminds me of last year and how NY suddenly turned things around as soon an d'antonio was canned.

    What do you guys think?

Funny thing is they're talking about bringing d antoni in. But yes, I don't think the Lakers players every really bought in to Mike Brown. I would love for Phil Jackson to come back. I'm sick of people saying how overrated he was. The Lakers will be ignited with this move.

    Jackson is overrated..

any good coach would have that amount of rings with those squads..
funny how when Jordan retired.. no rings for 2 yrs..

or when k0bie chased Shaq away... no rings until Gasol came in..*

People r retarded sometimes. C'mon man. Lets look at the last couple champions and their coaches. Yeah, they were all nobody's. oh wait, no they weren't. Spoelstra, Doc Rivers, Pop, Carlile, etc... Most championship teams had good/great coaches. People r seriously flawed if they think Phil Jackson wasn't a great coach.

Right on que w/ more ignorance. Doesn't matter who the Lakers hire you're gonna tell us how it's a bad move & they can't coach. Winningest coach ever, good coach, bad coach, great coach, horrible coach.....Doesn't matter to u whoever it is u will tell us they sukk simply cause it's the Lakers.

Your credibility for basketball knowledge on this board is literally zero. Sad thing is u don't even realize it?

Jackson will be the Lakers new coach. I don't think Kupchak would have not fired Brown so quickly if he already had someone to take his place. Meet the new boss same as the old boss.
