The Pistons are out to prove something this year, and they'll get started on that tonight when they host the Bucks in Detroit.
The Bucks made some changes in the offseason which won't bear fruit until later in the year. They suffered what they thought was a devistating injury to Andrew Bogut, but he has come back from the setback much quicker than expected. Still, he hasn't played in a game yet and he is sure to be limited in his ability.
We love to back veteran teams on a mission and you would be hard-pressed to find a team with more of a chip on their shoulder than the Pistons. After winning the most games in the league last year, everyone thought they would have a cakewalk through the playoffs. But after battling Cleveland tooth and nail they never had the chance to defend their crown in the championship.
In the offseason defensive demon Ben Wallace went packing and now the experts have written this team off. They have been sitting and stewing on the sidelines waiting to make a statement. They do so tonight.
