    We're taking the under in Phoenix/LAL

    Both teams are banged up, which should impact offense more negatively than defense in this game. the Lakers often employ an effective slow-down defensive strategy against Phoenix. Kobe is likely to have a high shot total, low percentage type of game. The two exhibition games these teams played recently going to 190 and 185 come with a few grains of salt, but still are not insignificant.

    Certainly a worthwhile play but I'd take it a step further and look for the Lakers to come in UNDER 102. With both teams on the first leg of a b2b you can expect a good amount of bench play. This should drag on LA's total considerably more than the Suns.
