Well the first game of that series was against the Magic but I didn't get -4 I got -4.5 so it was a loss for me while it was a push for others. So for me it's a D bet

@Asset, the dividing of home/away games is to see if the team qualifies for the chase (ie, they win/lose 3 straight home/road). I dont think it applies to the chase once it begins

no, it applies for the chase aswell, thats why S2 Cle fade (C/D bet) will be on 30.11.2012 @ Atlanta. If Atlanta covers tomorrow against Charlotte we will have a D bet crossover on the Atlanta/Cleveland game on 30.11.2012, atleast for the guys having a D bet on the next Cle fade play. u cant win on a half goal. Somehow some bookies have different lines for the 2 bets, pretty senseless actually.
On the other side +0.5 spreads will cover if a team draws.

Just as a note to this, there is always a reason bookies offer both lines... you can usually get better odds taking the -0.5 over the ML because the Asian handicap line is a two way market so there will (usually) be less of a margin for the bookies. On a 3 way market bookies tend to offer between 107%-110%, 2 way markets between 103%-108%. Originally Posted by Stifler

Sorry to come in so late in the thread and ask what I'm sure is a moronic question...but how does the chase system work in S4? If the A bet is lost, how is B bet placed? As you can see this is my first post, so I'm fairly new to this, but I do understand S1, S2, and S3 and think they are quite good! Thanks for taking time to explain and GL all.

Thank you! Now I'm not sure why I didn't get that part, that's really simple! So since Toronto comes off OT game, they fade vs. Houston...if that bet is lost we continue to fade them against their next opponent and so on. Think I got it thanks again guys.
