    is it easier to play Unders? if a game goes to overtime it will usually go OVER. OT is not a rarity in the NBA?

    I feel there are so many different ways it can go. If a team is getting blown-out it increases the odds of the under as the winning team might bring out the bench and run the clock down. The chances of a furious comeback are less than 50% and worse shots will probably be taken.

    If its close the under might be helped as the teams could be playing stronger defense.. I dunno

    I think OT happens like 6% of the time or something

    When it's close at the end fouls could send a game over when the line is about right. And if it's not close there's the possibility of garbage shots thrown up as the clock runs down to kill your under, hate those. When in doubt it's over or pass for me.

    Yeah but I don't think garbage time shots are a way to cap. Pau's last second 3 pointer is the difference between a winning and losing nba season for me so far. That is just how it goes sometimes. I also feel like the over is inflated a little bit because people don't like to root for missed shots. I think fouls need to be accounted for in a game that is expected to be close but less so with a higher spread around 7-9

    Last year was my first losing NBA season at SBR, and it was pretty bad, around -8.30. Won 4 straight years prior to that. And OT is factored slightly into total, but not by two points.

    it does seem right to me. CUz over is a public play today. TOn of money is on Over. That's why the line went up from 200.5 -> 204. I like it even more at 204

    LT, I know it is hard having to take a losing season last year in the NBA, but also remember last years NBA season was a joke, to me.. Way to many games being played in a short period of time. But the old saying "it is what it is".. Thanks and GL either way

    Man.. Im completely a recreational better and I'm not out to quadruple my money (although it would be nice!) but it does always seem kind of silly in the grand scheme of things... average those out and its like 6 units per year... thats something you could make in a week w/ a lil luck and then call it quits for that whole year... Its like at the end of the NBA Playoffs I was up $8.. seems so futile but I had a lot of fun and at least I was up.

    Good to know you have a decent record though. I made some money off your MLB capping skills (thank you) and I got the impression NBA might not be your strongest
