You push the pace and get out and run. With nash's passing ability and dwight streaking down the floor they could get any easy 10-15 points per game on the regular from fast break points, on easy dunks/lobs.

Now I agree he is a horrible in-game coach. He doesn't know how to make adjustments and create matchup problems effectively. His offense is slow and predictable.

But he's a good defensive guy that will teach his guys how to think for themselves and perform at a high level. He's a Popovich disciple that is heavy on fundamentals. Once his guys can learn the system and act without thinking they will be fine. LA still doesn't have the right pieces in place. I didn't like the Howard acquisition and I'm not sure it's going to work but eventually, they will be a tough out in the West because of Brown.
Fukk that, sell the crap to another franchise. The Lakers want no part of a "wait and see" complex offense that maxes out at 80 points per game. It sure as shit doesn't have the roster built for this.

Nash can't play defense if all of Canada depended on it. Howard and fundamentals? The guy is a 6'9" center that plays above the rim. Hell, Howard wouldn't be a top 5 center in any other decade - but that is a different subject.

The Lakers have the pieces to be really good. They got two of the hardest working and best basketball minds in the backcourt in Nash and Kobe. Brown just needs to get the fukk out of the way, and allow them to earn his paycheck.

If Brown had any clue, he would take a hint from Pop and let loose on the reigns and watch the scoreboard light up.

Bad is not strong enough of a word. Cavs would have had a ring with a better coach. Heavily out-coached by Rivers and Poppavich.

Is Mike Brown the dumbest coach in the NBA? He is definitely among them. How can he not design a better offensive scheme with all of these skilled players? Its almost like he wants to play away from each player's strengths, perplexing.

Listening to him speak definitely exposes him as not the most intellectually nimble man in the NBA. During an in game interview last night he didn't fail to deliver when he used " more ____er" in a sentence. Not sure if it was more better, more stronger, or more faster, but the guy never fails to expose his shortcomings.

Of course they integrate and improve all year long and make the playoffs easily. But it will be in spite of Mike Brown, not because of him

Yes Mike Brown sucks balls. He may be a good defensive coach but he doesn't know anything about offensive sets and even his sub patterns are suspect. First game of the season he pulls Kobe with 3 something left in the first, 1st sub of the game for either team, Kobe looked pissed, he was in the flow...then Mike Brown doesn't bring Kobe back in until way in the 2nd qtr, Lakers down.

Factor in the fact that Kobe suggested Lakers run Princeton offense, and Mike Brown is doing it just shows that Mike Brown doesn't have a clue himself. Kobe doesn't have faith in what Mike Brown is doing, thats why he suggested running something he saw ANOTHER coach run, you'll never see Phil Jackson switch up his triangle for Kobe because there was no need. I have no confidence in Mike Brown.

This idiot has Kobe coaching and running the practices. Dumb players probably love him. As a coach it should be more of a love occassionally relationship hate, like Pop does at San Antonio. Of course Brown does not have the knowledge or authority to lead like Pop.

Phil Jackson is blazing his medical marijuana daily, not sure he has the time to come back to the Lakers. Although this lineup sure must look enticing to him.
