    How do I NOT take the Lakers?

    Mavericks do NOT have Dirk or half the team that made them contenders. The Lakers will have a less than full strength Bryant, but a healthy Nash and somewhat healthy Howard. Lakers SHOULD win this one running away. What am I missing?

    Lakers are -8.5 AT MY LOCAL. Talk me down or build this play up.

    8.5 is a lot to cover, but I can see the Lakers pouring it on late.
