    Modelling Question

What's more reliable for models - last 6 games from previous season or all of the pre-season games or both?

Most cappers I know completely junk the pre-season as being irrelevant, however I read yesterday that the books use a combo of last 6 regular season games & pre-season stats.

If you are going to consider preseason games, you have to know what the coaches' motivation is.

To blindly use them for capping is not very wise.

Also, to use last year's final six games blindly is ignorant. If it was Golden State, they were trying to lose. If it was Dallas, it is a different team.

Look at the difference between last year's team and this years.

    Just my opinion.
