its very possible but it will be a cap issue
heat are over the luxury tax, and will be repeat offenders unless they all sign for less again
also gotta think about the age of bosh and wade
he can very well sign with other current and upcoming superstars :

    houston with harden
    cleveland with irving
    NYC with melo
    GS with curry

Dwade will restructure his deal to keep Lebron in town. He's at the end of his career anyhow.

Ratzz' posts are always worth the price of admission which luckily is nothing. Typical myopic Laker hater.

The thing you retards don't understand is that the opportunity in this town is worth more than an NBA contract. Take for instance the whole Cliff Paul thing. CP3 wasn't getting those offers in NO. I guarantee he is making at least 2 mil to do those commercials. They're probably paying him twice for each character. Multiply that with branding deals for every product under the sun, foreign markets, film and you can make triple what your deal is here in LA.

LeBron has always said he wants to be a business mogul. Guess what... LA is a possibility.

he doesnt need to be in a big market, thats not his main objective
lebron wants to win, lakers right now do not offer the best option
he can just as easily go to the knicks or the clippers if he wants a big market

People who only want to win don't have ESPN press conferences about where they are taking their talents. He wants to win and do all the other shit. If you took the time to read the article, the Lakers are currently committed to under 30 MM in salary cap money in 2014. He can't easily go to the Clippers or the Knicks because they have more players committed for greater money.

Look I'm not saying he's coming to LA. I'm saying it's a possibility and to say it isn't is silly.

Why does everyone assume he is leaving Miami? The team is an established brand now, Pat Riley running the ship, and its in paradise with beautiful women everywhere. Before jumping to the conclusion he would return to shithole Cleveland or go anywhere else maybe consider he's happy and wants to stay in 1 spot the rest of his career. Don't believe everything Espn reports half those guys are morons just fishing for stories to debate about half the time.

like i said, he is out to win championships
being in a big market is not even on the radar
yes the lakers will have tons of cap room as of now, but will they by 2014?
will he even be interested in playing with whoever the lakers have on the roster by then?

no1 is sayin the lakers wont be an option, they prolly will be
but if u look around the league, there several teams with talent and cap space
that are definately closer to a title than the lakers

Sorry gaucho but Miami is a huge market and not all that far behind LA. He doesn't need to be in the biggest of markets. Look what Jordan did in Chicago. Lebrons not going to LA. And that's not a knock on LA, it's just not happening.

and Durante is getting big time commercial contracts in OKC of all places. Miami much bigger than OKC.

Lol Chicago has a metropolitan population of 10 million, its the 3rd biggest city in the usa.... if that's not a big market then can you enlighten me on what is.

Oh and Miami while reasonably large isn't at all a huge market; its the 44th largest city in the country right between Omaha and Tulsa

Miami-Dade county is the 6th or 7th most populated county in the US. Ions ahead of whatever counties Tulsa and Omaha are located in. So he's in one of the biggest markets in the nba already. Granted LA is likely the biggest probably followed by NY but leBron doesn't need LA.

Measuring by county size is bullshit, by that logic Philly and Boston are smaller markets than Miami because they are broken up into various counties, and the Rockets and Suns would have the 3rd and 4th biggest markets in the country

The reality is Lebron is unlikely to be paid what he is worth, which is the highest salary in NBA history if he stays in Miami, and I don't know how people like jsmith can say that essentially the Lakers don't give him an oppertunity to win championships since the Lakers have only missed the playoffs twice in the last 35 years and without Lebron either lost in the 1st round of missed the playoffs 4 years in a row

Superstars only change teams when they know they cannot reach their goals with their present team (despite repeated attempts)

this is the very reason why Lebron Cleveland.. he went to a single Finals and was swept by a much deeper Spurs team..

Lebron has gone to the Finals in both years in Miami thus far, and will be going a thrird year in a row,,,

i think that Laker fans imagine that this entire league exists to serve as food for the Laker diet.

I can assure that Lebron will not leave a team where he has gone to the Finals, more times than not. At the conclusion of next season, he will have gone 3 times... and maybe 4 times in a row.

so, inexorably.. the REASON for him to leave would be... what?*

    where did i say that?
i said lakers do not give him the best opportunity to win a title as it stands
u have no idea what the roster or coach will be in 2014
this talk about biggest market is nonsense.
did people forget that he could have signed with the knicks, nets, clippers or chicago?
