Kobe Cannot Dominate A Game Anymore

Age is getting to him now, scores a hard 30 a lot

He cannot go to the hole, he is just a jumpshooter

    Bynum looks like a flop

Lakers just are not tough enough

Stop overanalyzing one series. He is playing against a team that has two of the best defenders in the whole league. If he were playing the Mavericks, he would be lighting them up for 40 every game. In the two games the Lakers needed him most, he scored 40 and 26 (in only 31 minutes) and he shot 60% and 51%.

Kobe finally realizes that he cant win a championship w/o a presence of Shaq. Kobe is too greedy to build/make team better around him.
He will never win a another championship w/ the Lakers again.
    Fukk Kobe!!!

Anyone that thinks the Cavaliers would beat Lakers in best of 7 series might want to rethink things. Goes to show you what the hype of Lebron can do in terms of clouding better judgment. Also, would the Lakers not sweep the Pistons and Hawks?

u pegged it on the head, kobe needs that big man to dump to underneath when his drive to the hole fails... instead he gets stuck dumping it all the way to the outside because they have no one with enough power to finish it off, either this or he throws up a dream and tries to draw the foul..

That's not an issue. If they survive game 7 against Houston they have to beat the best team in the West in the playoffs before they have a chance to beat the Cavs. I'm sorry but Farmar and Bynum will not lead any team to the championship.

The Lakers may have swept the Pistons and Hawks but they would not have won every game by double digits in the dominating fashion that the Cavs did. I mean come on they lost 3 games to a team whose best player is Aaron Brooks.

so far denver had it easy also. they are giving a lot of stupid unnecessary fouls. and jj is right that bynum needs to be psyched majorly before coming out on the remaining games. he is the tallest useless player among the remaining teams this playoff

The Cavs have not faced any competition. Detroit doesn't even belong in the playoffs and it took the Hawks 7 games to beat Dwyane Wade.

If Lebron is so much better than Kobe though why did every player on the team defer to Kobe when they needed scores in the Gold medal game at the end. The announcers even said during the game that Team USA is relying on Kobe for all their scoring here. Lebron has to demand the ball in a situation like that for me to put him above Kobe. Lebron is great, but when he hits 30 getting to the lane will be harder for him as well. Kobe is up against two of the best defenders in the league and is still playing well while forced into tough jumpers. I will never put Lebron over Kobe when he goes against the Hawks and shoots under 70 percent from the FT line for the series. That is plain pathetic for any MVP who isn't a Center, and had the Hawks been a team like the Rockets it is a percentage that would have cost them games. Lebron struggles like Kobe does against tough physical defenses. How quickly everyone forgets how he got destroyed by the Spurs and they literaly shut him down. Give Kobe a break it is one series and he has put on plenty of performances that Lebron dreams of accomplishing one day. The series isn't over yet and the Cavaliers still don't have a free pass to the finals. The Celtics have the championship toughness to fall back on, and if the Magic win they are capable of playing good enough basketball to beat them.

Lakers are gonna own on Sunday. The Rockets won't get blown out by 40 but i bet they lose by 20. Lakers -12 is the play. Kobe is fine, there all just having a bad series. Everyone forgets last year Boston had all that trouble with Atlanta in the 1st round when everyone thought that should be a breeze. We all know what they went on to do. Lakers own tomorrow and get ready for Denver.

The excellence of this post is impossible to ignore, if only ESPN did not brainwash many basketball fans into believing that Lebron is the GOAT, then perhaps they could better understand the above post.

What is Shaq without Kobe then? What is Shaq without Wade? What is Pierce without Garnett? What is Garnett without Pierce? What is Duncan without Parker? pavy, your argument is the one of the dumbest one out there. I don't mean to offend you but if you're going to hate on Kobe that much, come up with a better argument.

Of course there is no comparison but who said Kobe wanted to be like MJ? Debates will always spark about these players but who is really a comparison between Lebron and MJ either? If you're going to state Lebron is better than Kobe, come up with a better reason other than Kobe can't compare to MJ.

Why stop there? How many rings did Magic win without Kareem, MJ without Pippen? Why is Kobe the only player in the history of the NBA expected to win titles by himself? Rediculous level of hate for this man.

It's a team game last I checked, and all these legends who won titles had a lot of help around them, usually atleast another HOF level player by their side.

We all know where this dislike of Kobe emanates for some, when reason cannot be used to describe what about this incredible player is deficient, then we all know what it goes back to. I don't see how anyone can honestly say that Lebron is a better player than Kobe, better teammate? Who knows, maybe, but not better NBA player, scorer, or defender. When Lebron is Kobe's age, let's see him finish at the rim like he does, and when that is gone he'll have only a mediocre jumper to rely on, unlike the absolute polished weapon Kobe has.
