    I'd say they're pretty much a lock to not make the playoffs... Exagerating but think they have little depth and even the starting five you mentioned has some quality but doesn't really scare any of the good teams in the East

    Oh i agree with that and i wish them the best, specially to my boy Landry (knicks fan here), who was one of my favourite knicks recently. hard-working player with high basketball IQ, will help the team a lot in the little things

    Raps are far from a playoff lock, but I think there is a good chance they will be in the playoff race til the end. Unlike the West, the East is not as deep.

    I'm sorry but Landry Fields is not good. He is not even a good role player. OK, maybe he is hard working and smart, but if those are the first two adjectives you can come up with to promote him, that is a very bad sign. There is not a single aspect of his game that is above average. Scoring, spot shooting, defense, rebounding, etc. He is average or below average in every category.

    Thought this Simmons clip was pretty funny.

    yeah, there was too much confidence in raptors before the season. even if all the new faces are good (and bargani comes back) the adjustment period is huge and teams don't just add 10-15 wins over previous season that easily (unless they pick up huge name... and of course i'm doing it from last year's normalized wins)

    one thing i will say is i think raptors have had more western road games than any other eastern team.

    will be interesting when lowry, bargani come back.

    The Raps are a lock to blow as long as Bargnani is on the team. He goes down and what are they since then, like 6-1 or 7-1? Playing great without him plus he called them the worst team in the NBA, coming from a Canadian he needs to goooooo!!

    +1. I swear the Raps are on a mission to prove that Bargs is the reason why they suck. I was watching a game a few nights ago and you could pretty much see the writing on the wall, Amir Johnson and a few others were sitting near him. joking and socializing amongst each other - they acted as if Bargs wasn't even there. Bargs has worn out his welcome.

    raptors have potential but they couldt use it for last 2-3 years. i had been hopeful about some things will change on toronto side, with landry fields and kyle lowry's additions. but a lot of injuries blocked their way.
    season is long, they can do it. and i think they must really consider to trade andrea bargnani. he is selfish players, he breaks the teamwork.
