If Deron Williams goes to the Mavs, then they should be the Favs to win it all

Mark Cuban is trying to lure Williams.

Getting only Deron won't make them even favorites in the West. Jason Terry is a free agent, for example.

    No they won't.

DWill will make them better, but not enough to win it all, probably not enough to get past OKC either. They still have a huge hole at Center. Probably won't resign Jason Terry. Mavs have a lot of needs to address. If they get DWill and address a few other needs, then possibly. But just adding DWill won't get them all that far.

They would be top 3 teams in the west for sure. Will be deadly in the playoffs. D Will > Russell Westbrook.

Now Howard wants to play for Brooklyn. This would keep DWil in place. Whats with all the talk about him partying with the owner?

disagree. Nowitzki is a 1 championship player. He's great, but does not have that manic addiction to prove over and over and over...
that he's the best. It is that mania that creates a Jordan.. etc..

Dirk i s older as well... OKC is going right back to the Finals...

they will be even better. I feel badly for Laker fans... (actually i don't)

Kobe and Co. won't ever get past round 2 again.

Need a solid enough center. The scrubs they had last year were a joke, get Roy Hibbert on that team and they could be legit contenders, even though he got exposed by James/Wade this year he is definitely promising and talented.

    Williams
    West
    Marion
    Dirk
    Hibbert

Only problem in that case is that if this happens Jason Kidd, Jason Terry and Vince Carter are all leaving (the latter is hardly a problem). That bench could be the weakness, ironic when you look at the 2010/11 roster. Wait and see I guess.

Lets wait and see what the Lakers decide to do this offseason. My guess is they make some moves and go for one last push with Kobe. The front office knows that Kobe only has 1 or 2 more really good seasons left. It's now or never for the Lakers. If they upgrade, I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the finals next year.

If Goat is saying that, is because he should be predicting some moves from the Lakers to. I do as well, but since I think they will let Gasol go I don't see them getting very far. If they remain healthy, I htink the Clippers have the best roster out west right now to play half-court ball and win in the playoffs. But there's still lots of ifs to them.

i'll bet anything you want... only a Laker person could think that Kobe will do better than Durant next year..*
a Laker person views that 5 game series a fluke... refs.. etc..

Lakers never had any chance, they barely got by Denver (a team with "zero" superstars)
    no way they handle two*

also no way they win their Division... (Clippers)
and no way higher than a 5 seed.

Lakers can't win on road.. so will not make 2nd Round. (guaranteed)

if Denver had home-court in their series, it would have been Denver. *

people don't enjoy playing with Kobe...
when they win, he takes all the credit, and when they lose, he blames you.

so, who would? Sessions is not leaping to resign...

Bynum's very first statement after elimination "I'll play anywhere"
which translates to "i want to play anywhere else"*

no one is on board except Kobe fanatics.

kobe is trying to blame gasol for the okc loss
but lets not forget, it was kobe that ultimately choked away the thunder series

they lost the thunder series because gasol and bynum were bitches down low. Bryant is the only reason they won one game. Yeah he choked away 1 4th quarter but he basically did it all on his own. Bynum is an overrated player. He's an awful passer.

Ratzz the lakers are making moves bud. Someone is gonna be out.
