    Yep, the screwed up.

Could have had the perfect fit in T-Rob.

Last year the discussion was Kyrie or D. Will... they made the right choice and went with Kyrie.

This year, they had another chance to grab a top 2 talent, at the exact same position, and with a very similar game - and they failed again.

    Jesus.

I like the pick. Waiters looks like Baron Davis out there.

I wasn't in their war room, but my guess is they passed on him because Tristan Thompson plays the same position as Robinson.

Speedy, if they wanted a scoring guard, don't u think Lamb out of Uconn would been a better fit? Kid won a championship and plays tuff

Not a fan of Tristan. Thought it was a bad pick then. Still do.

Two top four picks and Cavs don't even get a solid starter in Waiter and Thompson. Might as well let LeBron draft for them.

Agreed, if he were in this years draft he would probably be a late lottery pick. Only reason why he went so high was because last years draft was trash.

Why is everyone talking about Rivers to the Hornets. Rivers and Gordon in the backcourt will be like Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry. A ton of fire power, but they won't win anything together. Neither of them want to play defense, and both are very undersized.

Come on paco u should be a little smarter then calling him a career bench player....kid would come off the bench within the first four minutes of tipoff. used him as the spark to ignite the rest of the team. And lamb instead of waiters....that's just silly

Waiters is explosive... being a 6th man is arbitrary.. he still played starters minutes.. maybe lets see him play a year or two before we call this pick terrible. He was projected to go 7th-10th. 4th is not a big reach, especially if he is your guy.

Cavs are also 20 million under the cap... they can get good fast through trades. They have 2 1st rounders again next year, potentially 3 if the Kings aren't in the lottery.

The more I analyze it, the more I like the pick... The Cavs need someone else on the floor that wants to make game changing shots and has the predisposition to attack without fear or thought. Guy very much reminds me of a russell westbrook type player. I think he fills a huge scoring need and will be an awesome compliment to Irving. There simply was not another player similar to him as far as a fearless, big time shot taker perspective goes. He has a cockiness and swag to him that others did not and I like it. Hope he lives up to the expectations.

Nba draft is a crapshoot. Most of these players stink.

I think it's a pretty good draft this year. Last years draft was horrible, might have been one of the worst drafts of all time.

Waiters does have somewhat of a throwback game I could see meshing the tempo well with Irving.

And I do like the concept of having a defensive, team-oriented, tall center who works hard and runs the floor.

Plus he is loyal to his programs the becomes involved with. Waiters also from a working class city. Better odds that they dont bounce or keep big time FAs at bay.

I have been drinking a little though.

My thoughts exactly. If they gotten beal, AWESOME, having in mind he wasn't available, it was either waiters or barnes. I would've likely chosen Barnes, but Waiters this season was far more consistent and he plays with an edge and competitiveness that Barnes doesn't... let alone Jeremy Lamb who shouldn't even be mentioned in the conversation.

With this said, I was saying Waiters was going to be a great player even before he made it out to Syracuse, and I still think they should've taken Barnes instead. I can live with it though, and I wouldn't be shocked if Waiters ended the season as a top 3 rookie.

With Anthony Davis and another quality defensive power forward, you dont need to play defense...just score

I did kinda want to see Drummond fall one more spot to the Hornets at ten because him and Davis could have been one of the greatest big man duos ever if Drummond can learn to control his size and athleticism

Everyone talks about kyrie Irving but that was a slam dunk pick. I called the night of the draft tristain was the worst 4 pick ever. Then they take waiters!?!?!?
