Yes...Bo knew stardom. Albert Belle was headed for the Hall. So was Herb Score for that matter. Yes, I'm a Cleveland homer but these guys were studs.

The special season finale, "The Final Days of Owen Hart," will premiere on Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET and cover both Owen's life and the fallout from his death. Martha's involvement, she claims, has allowed the "real story" of the situation to be told to wrestling fans.

"I'm just one individual and the WWE is a PR powerhouse," Martha Hart told CBS Sports. "They've always had the upper hand with getting their message and their side of things out. This episode really provided the opportunity to tell the real story and tell how I had the biggest fight of my life. It was a real David and Goliath battle and how awful they were to me and how disrespectful they were to Owen."

Hart holds WWE directly responsible for her husband's death. WWE, she says, took shortcuts to cut costs on performing the stunt, hiring unqualified personnel and setting off a domino effect of catastrophic choices. Hart identified Bobby Talbert as the "hacker" hired after experienced rigger Joe Branam -- who had done rigging work for Elton John and The Rolling Stones, among others -- had refused to execute the stunt.

Too many to list.. NBA there is a bunch of them and Bill Walton comes to mind for starters.. Injured half his career or more..

Then there are those that died young and who knows how good they could have been?

It has to be Bo Jackson.

I'll say Dan Marino too because I'm a homer. I still remember watching that game against the Browns. If it wasn't for that damn Cleveland turf, who knows?

I still blame that damn turf, but at least he got to keep playing as opposed to Bo.

I agree with the masses here, Bo in a landslide. Remember, we are talking about a guy that was simultaneously an NFL Pro Bowler and an MLB All Star when his career was cut short, so we are talking about literally one of the best athletes ever.

I'm being a homer here and this is more baseball specific, but every year around spring training time I wonder what would have happened in the career of Oscar Taveras had he not died in the offseason.

Sweetest looking swing since Griffey Jr., multiple scouts that said he was the best hitting talent since Pujols. What could have been...

Yeah, I honestly never seen any pitcher dominate like that before. His damn slider was UNTOUCHABLE and I think the only runs he really gave up were from his relief appearances early on. It was insane with him and Johan, maybe best 1/2 combo that "could been" ever.

Both had shortened careers w arm issues.

Twins had another guy, Joe Mays, won 20 games for a shit team, I think then blew his arm out....never to be heard from again

He was the best in the game but hard to know if he would of kept it up I remember when Chris Young and Edwin Jackson were the best pitchers in baseball for like one year each.

    Bo Jackson, then Penny Hardaway

Would Greg Oden have been dominant?
Did he ever play one game truly healthy?

Larry Bird with his ailing back, he should have played and dominated for additional 3 to 4 years if his back didn't go out.. Cut his career short.

Same can be said with Magic Johnson and his HIV deal that kept him out of the league for a few years.
