    Paul is far far from a score first pg...he times his shot selection perfectly and knows when his team needs him to score points. His entire plan is to get the team going from the start and he himself will takeover in the 4th.

    Rose has no choice but to be a score first pg because he has no1 on his team really...but he's as good as they come when it comes to PG's of this nature. He has improved in this sense over his career though, going for more assists and play-making rather than scoring himself. And not to mention how he can take over a game when its needed most...which DOES win u championships (Kobe/Jordan)

    It's hard to say. Each PG is a little different. Example, Rondo does things Rose and Westbrook can't but Rose/Westbrook do things Rondo can't.

    I think all of those guys are great except that tub of lard Williams.

    Rondo's postseason has been ridiculously good... but I still rate Paul and Rose just ahead of him

    I agree. I thought he might be big (Deron Williams) when he went to New Jersey but he just lost credibility. He is not one of the top PG's in the NBA.. Its definitely between Rose and Rondo. I think Rose is better just because of his ability to score and the fact that he added a 3pt game in one off season. Don't sleep on him just cuz he got hurt. Im a Celtics fan but Rose has to be the best PG in the game right now......

    It is close though.. Rondo makes almost every pass perfectly

    Paul everyday over him. And I love how people bash on Williams. I would love to see Rondo play in New Jersey and get all the attention, and see what he would do. If health doesn't come into factor:

    Paul

    and then a tie between Rose/Westbrook. Parker had a great season but I doubt he can pull another one off, and he pales in comparision on defense, specially against westbrook.

    1 is Chris Paul and it's not close.
    2 is Derron Williams
    3 is Rose
    4 is Rondo
    5 is Westbrook
    6 is Parker

    Chris Paul does more defensively than any pg in the league. rondo is just a steals man on D. Chris paul has played with scrubs his whole career. so has derron williams. these guys are unbelievable true pg's. Rondo is great--I want to see what happens when he has no kg, no ray ray, no pp. Let's see if he's gonna get all those assists. CP3 got those assists with average players on the hornets--closest thing to isiah thomas for sure.

    monster triple doubles in b2b game 7s sold a lot of people... KG was also a stud in these playoffs, but peirce and allen were shells of themselves.. pretty clutch performances by rondo while paul was busy getting outplayed by parker

    Paul was not healthy. It was obvious the groin was bothering him. Come on. Chris Paul has been the best pg for the last 5 years. You can bet he'll start on the Olympic team over Rose or Westbrook or anyone else.

    Rondo is unreal. If the guy had a midrange game he would be the best. Also he's overrated defensively. He cost his team actually in the last game by trying to go for steals everytime Lebron or Wade had him in the post, and they just blew by him for easy floaters.

    What do you want Rondo to do exactly? He's too small to be able to guard anyone straight up. Guys like him have always been steals players in the NBA.

    Paul is the best for sure. He can take over a game in more ways than anyone else mentioned in the discussion, especially with a few minutes left in the 4th. A ferocious defender who will go down as the best pg of this generation when they all retire. Look at his numbers. He's already one of the greatest 10-15 pg's in NBA history. No one else on that list is in that discussion.
