    +8 points sure is a lot of points to cover. Vegas knows what it's doing here. Boston has NOTHING to lose in this situation. No one even expected them to take this series to reach Game 7 (except maybe Michael Wilbon). The pressure is on the Heat to close this thing out at home. Personally I'm not playing this, but BOL. I think the Heat do get the win ultimately, but Boston may cover the spread.

    Predicting Heat games is more about gauging their motivation than anything else. They play when they feel like it or need the game, as evidenced in Game 6 tonight, as well as during the previous series after Indy taunted them and celebrated Miami turned up the intensity. During the entire regular season they played when they felt like it, usually against teams they didn't like/rivals or in hostile spots to quiet the road crowds.

    There was never a question in my mind that they were the most talented team in the East. Against OKC it will be a different ball game, as their choppy offense, lack of ball movement and team play, and mediocre coaching and depth will get exposed in by a faster more althletically coordinated OKC squad.

    Game 7 is a possible blowout as the Celtics looked extremely tired tonight much like an older SA team did down the stretch in Game 6 vs OKC when they blew a huge lead and crumbled. Miami obviously has the talent and the athleticism to put Game 7 away convincingly and will be motivated and focused. Adding Bosh back to their rotation is huge. Celtics have way more heart and toughness, but for me this game is either a pass or a Heat play. The only way the Celtics keep it close is if Rondo shows up huge and Pierce is fresh and hitting. Rondo's output is highly variable and unpredictable, Pierce has more heart than the entire Heat team, yet his legs and shot may get weary in this tough series.

    Comprehensive win in Boston. Tough to bounce back from that against Miami at home. I hate to say it/see it but Miami -8 looks good..

    Confused on how the oddsmakers set the pointspread on this series, they have been consistent in keeping the heat 7.5 , 8,,, at home and slight fav on the road.1.5,2............did not make any major adjustments...saw the book adjust in the dallas series making the mavs a two point dog at home for the last game from a two point fav, but that was a sweep scenario
