Why anyone thinks miami has a legit shot without big time ref intervention tonight is what i dont understand

They got there shit pushed in in game 3 and 4. Now in an elimination game with the garden going ballistic they are goijg to somehow figure something out. No chance without major help from the refs

boston has looked better the last 4 games really. heat have never shown they can win with their backs against the wall, pretty much agree with bronxer on this one.

If the refs dont touch it, Celtics roll. I have the bet largest lead of the game over 14, this one is for sure...

Agree with that. Lebron will play for himself at least.
i think that Over 31 pts is the play here. Better than Miami ML, imo.
Even if they lose, he will show up tonight.

I believe Miami has lost like 13 of the last 14 games in the garden. I know alot of those numbers are from regular season and this is playoffs but I haven't seen much change in the results. If you like the Miami just play Lebron ovr pts prop. I wish it was only 3Qtr's prop and I would take it...

Anything can happen obviously, Pac, but can't see how you'd be confident in it, and going 10X, for all the reasons people have already illuminated in here, such as:

    A) Home advantage of a super-adrenalized Garden
    B) Team w/ tons of heart vs. team w/ questionable heart, in a close-out game
    C) Huge coaching discrepancy
    D) Team still trying to win with two stars and a vanilla offense vs. a multi-faceted team
    E) C's vets knowing they already stole their road win and this is their opportunity, HERE, TONIGHT, to get to the Finals for a shot at one last title together.

Yeah, Heat could win if Bosh plays most of the game and LBJ has a monster game, but you're going up against a lot.

As some others already stated, I think Lebron over 31 pts is a good play.

Say what you want about him, but the dude plays hard. Can't see him leaving this game win or lose without his 31+, especially if he is getting extra love from the refs.

Wow. Just checked the record of James-led teams at the Garden the last 5 years....

    2-11 with Cleveland (includes playoffs)
    1-7 with Miami (includes playoffs)

    Sickening for Miami backers.

Despite what I said above about liking the C's, I totally agree with the James over backers, I think he is going to have a sick stat line tonight, definitely 30+ points but also assists, blocks, etc. He will play big.

You expect Lebron James to actually have to win something in his life instead of having everything handed to him? I really can't blame the guy for the way he is, His parents, family, friends, fans and even the media made him the way he is. Ever since he broadcasted on national television that he was leaving Cleveland and going to Miami people should have realized he had no sense of reality and so full of himself that he would never be able to win a big game. It's like your girlfriend breaking up with you on the 5 o'clock news, so tasteless.

Wade is another one, The only time he won anything big was when he had veterans like Shaq and Alonzo Mourning. Not to mention Pat Riley was the coach.

The more I think about it the more I like Lebron over 31. I think he cares way too much about himself to allow any room for the media to blame him for this series loss and the seasons failure. Last year he was crucified for "giving up," you think he's going to let the media scorch him for another summer? If Heat win, he has to have a huge game. And If Boston starts to pull away, I think he does the opposite of last year and goes into uber selfish/aggressive mode and starts jacking up shots and driving to the basket.

The last time I went big on a points over was Carmelo against the Heat at MSG and he royally shat the bed, so I'm a little hesitant.

Miami is the much better team. It's funny when people don't mention Bosh--an all star that makes Boston's bigs actually respect him. He is one of the best PF's in the league and all of the sudden he is discounted because he plays with two superstars. You have to understand that Bosh is crucial when you play the celtics specifically because this is a team that knows how to defend guys like james and wade, they just double team Wade every play. Can't do that when Bosh is in the game.

Miami will win the next two games and win the championship this year.

That Lebron over was easy money!! Easiest bet ever, he always does this.

Question now is do the Heat keep it up or do the C's clean things up and tighten the game up in the 2H. No idea. Hated that end to the half, 4-point swing when Rondo missed that layup!
