I already flushed my whole playoffs profit in a week. Was at almost 20k at one point. Down 165 now. I suppose I'll just lay low and chalk it up til next year.

When it comes down to it, I think the Books will win regardless in this situation because they will be raking in plenty of money on both sides. The juice should keep them in the clear.

This is a trap just to get people to back the heat. Heat are done, game 6 ends it.

    that's the question, i guess.

are they mentally capable to win this one? i doubt, but i might make a small bet to see if they are

Celtics have to earn their respect ... as they're not getting any, yet the team is playing like a CHAMPION.

I think we all remember what happened the last time a Lebron James led team was facing elimination in Boston

We saw a similar situation when the Heat were down 2-1 for game 4 in Indiana, and lebron and wade went off for 70. I believe the Pacers were about 1.5 dogs going into that game as well, and I thought the Heat were done and went with the Pacers. Now I'm thinking the same thing, Heat are done, bomb Celtics, but watch the Heat respond again.

I don't see how this is similar in the least. This is an elimination game against a playoff tested, mentally strong team. This isn't against a team that is just starting out like the Pacers.

I agree that the Celtics playoff experience will help them win the game. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think the Heat will go down easy. People are acting like the series is already over. I do think Boston will win the game, but I would not surprised to see this series go 7 games.

The Heat actually fear and/or respect the Celtics though.

The Heat are frontrunners... they can turn it on when their backs are against the wall against young and incompetent teams like the Pacers, but this Boston team is a different monster: mentally tough, savvy, poised, confident, and crisp in their execution. They are ******... and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Boston wins comfortably by double digits.

Well I took Boston +105 and consider it a gift. Rondo was 3-15 (but had a good game otherwise), Allen was AWFUL (2-9 makes it seem better than it was), and Pierce was 6-19!! And they won on the road. Pietrus was nice and wouldve been nicer if he didn't have his foot on the line for those two "threes", but he was a great player and I believe he still has skill.

Boston really has won the past 4 games. If anyone but Rondo had made a bucket in gm 2 OT, the series might be done already.

They might be the mighty Heat but they are masters of choking and are very mentally soft. Dwayne Wade having his lens-less glasses on for an interview 2 minutes after the game ended just showed me that they are NOT ready.
