nope. this was it. Miami is not good enough to win this series without help
from the refs. They don't get it tonight then Celtics take the best of 3
    regardless of Gm 5.

Haha nice try but not even close. Pretty sure NYG weren't top favorites to win it all in the preseason

    Everyone continues to hammer Miami.
Celtics beat them 2x in a row, almost 3
    and still get no respect.
It's the ESPN star worship mentality.
Vegas is helping by creating the illusion of security
on a high line.. they will rake in $$$,$$$,$$$

Heat rout prison bloodsuckers in Game 5, series over. My opinion.

Of course. You are from Boston. No offense bro. It was sketchy to both side and a lot of makeup calls.

yep. revisit the first post in this thread about how it could happen.
the makeup calls, no mandate on the Heat.
    says something.
I'm expecting Marc Davis to be on the officiating crew tomorrow.
If he is not, do not bet Miami. just my 2c.

After Marc Davis was installed as a sub in Gm 4 I thought Stern would
put him in Gm 5. Nope. This is a good sign for fair officiating tonight.
    The theory is on track.

Could be on to something. When they played in Boston, the stadium was sold out. Not so in Miami.

I don't trust the Spurs any more. They are allowing OKC too many baskets
look at Boston get stops tonight
    that's a real defense.

MIA only beat Boston last year because of Rondo having 1 arm

kinda sad tho, i want LeChoke to lose back 2 back Finals... oh well, guess that is too much to ask for

Boston vs OKC, if it holds up... its the young guns vs the aging vets who won't go away

On one hand, the last time the Spurs swept the first two rounds in 2008 they lost 4 in a row immediately after.

On the other hand; in all fairness this is the first time the Spurs will have felt any sense of urgency at all this year and it will be intriguing to see how they respond with their backs against the wall. It was interesting that they still hadn't lost their cool in the post-game interviews. We also haven't seen OKC perform in a big closeout game before.

Either Pop gets lazy/complacent and keeps neglecting film like they did between games 3 and 4 and get blown out tomorrow or they respond in a big way. I liked the odds.

    Definitely like Boston though.

yes and this is why i'm not commiting to OKC tomorrow YET
but I think it's just a formality and am leaning OKC because
the Spurs cannot stop them from scoring 100+
which really means the Spurs do not belong in the finals

Everything pointing to a rig for the celtics. I guess Stern had a change of plans. The refs all gathered at stern's house to figure out a way they can all bank from that series.
