    Anyway Heat Can Win Tonight?

Boston sure were in both games on road and now coming home

James and Wade would need huge games to win

Heat will salt it away tonight - and take a 3-0 lead. Have to think the heat just watched the OKC/SA game and realize if you let down for a minute the series can change quickly. As long as the refs dont give every call to the celtics per Sternys orders lol.

My first thought was Boston wins going away, but now I'm not so sure.

Stern wants long series for sure. Seems like every time a team gains control in these 'close' series the other team strikes back.

Maybe not a good game to bet

there we have it. I'm not sure if your whole schtick is an act or what. Heat win this one rather comfortably.

U should rarely compare Heat regular season stats with post season. Just asked the Bulls about it last year. 3-1 vs the heat in the reg. season but lost 4-1 in the post. Chances are that could happen to the celts.

whenever the refs help boston out its usually in the form of 20+boring and ugly points from pierce. any scorer with ref help in the nba has a huge edge. with this assumption or fixed variable in mind, lebron is capable of playing flawless d and shutting down pierce despite ref help but not battier. is spoelstra wants to steal a fixed boston win here then hell leave james on pierce fort the majority of tonight

Bulls were actually 3-0 against the Heat and 4-0 after game 1. Turned rather quickly. That being said, the Celtics left everything on the court last game because they knew they had to have game 2. They got nothing left. Heat put their foot on the throats of the Celts tonight.

Damn you may be on to something. Rondo played 53 min. Garnett 45min. Pierce 43 min. Allen 43min. So C's will have about 3 qtrs of energy to play hard ball, but lost in the 4th where it matters most.

In both games JJ? Don't you mean game 2? With that being said, Celtics needed a "lifetime" performance from Rondo. With him hitting lights out from where he doesn't usually hit from, the outside. Add that with the fact the Heat missed 16 free throws. Celtics still couldn't mustard up a win.

Certainly the Heat can win tonight. Is Rondo going to continue to hit 80% from the outside? It will be tough, and the "others" need to continue to step up for the Heat. Wade needs to get off to a fast start too, none of this disappearing act in the first half. Free throws must go in too, can't miss 16 of them on the road and expect to win.

I'm interested to see how the Celtics play, especially the 2nd half, with all those guys playing high minutes in GM2.

Good luck with your bets JJ.

Just because your arena is rockin', doesn't mean those shots are going to be droppin'. And the refs aren't a factor because the Celts shoots jumpers all day

I find the thread title hilarious. Is there any way the best team in the East can win a game? I mean I lean Celts tonight (ever so slightly, no real play other than try to scalp live betting), but asking if the Heat can POSSIBLY win seems funny to me.

Boston could for sure lose and please do not take David Stern into the equation. That is so stupid.
