Remember LeBron in game 5 against Celtics in 2010? He probably gave up after looking around him and saw no help. KD was more engaged and scored more points in this game because he's playing against the Rockets and not the 2010 Celtics.

You aren't bumping this thread today...

Why isn't this thread bumped when Durant is leading the league in scoring, averaging 38 points despite "getting taken out of the game", winning the Western Conference, and hitting game winning shots in the playoffs?

If you need one person in the world to take a shot right now, you would take Durant.

"He is who I thought he was." LMAO...Dude just took over in the final minute in the clutch against one of the most physical and best defensive teams in the league.

They didn't even cover and Memphis still has a great chance to win the series.

I'm just making a point that Durant is an elite player regardless of how strong he is. Obviously, getting stronger will only help but he is the second best player in the league.

Because I wasn't home today and didn't watch a single minute of the game.

Tony Allen taking KD out of the game again. Just like 2 years ago.

I wonder if we will be posting in this thread 5-10 years from now.

Kinda get the feeling OKC will be the Utah Jazz of the 90's. Two great players but will never win a championship.

Durant has hit countless game winning shots in his career, led the team in scoring, taken over down the stretch in numerous playoff games, etc.

Would getting stronger help him, sure. With that said, he is the second best player in the game and if you need someone to take a shot, who else would you want besides Kobe Bryant? Lebron isn't a great shooter and can't really create his own shot.

missed another late free throw and game ended up going to OT... yeah, hit a layup-type shot to go to OT (but left time for Memphis to still win)... but make that FT and maybe that shot wins the game, not just get to OT to lose by 6

Memphis missed two free throws down the stretch too. The guy isn't going to hit 100% either.

T-Wizz is probably right about hitting the weight room. It would help Durant a lot. He is obviously gassed in the fourth quarter of these games after getting the hell beat out of him by one of the best defenses in the league.

He doesn't have Westbrook to burden the load with him for 4 quarters and it is showing up late. His legs are gone and you can see it in his shot.

Don't get how anyone can hate on KD. Dude's unreal. I want the Grizzlies to win this series, but hell it's so fun to watch the guy play basketball. Just enjoy him while you can.
