Boston will play valiantly and win more than two games. Remember, heat are still missing a big three member and have no one to stop Garnett and rondo. Close series throughout.

I'm guessing first two games for Miami, then however it goes. Bostons will surely get at least 1, probably 3.

I think the Heat win in 5, BUT if the Celtics were somehow to get up 2-1...watch-out.

I simulated the series 50,000 times.

    Miami 4-0 (8836 times) 4-1 (12597 times) 4-2 (11210 times) 4-3 (6841 times)
    Boston 4-0 (590 times) 4-1 (2288 times) 4-2 (3642 times) 4-3 (3996 times)

    Bell curve says 4-1

My sim did NOT take Home court advantage into play, so those numbers should be even MORE in favor of the Heat. The -605/+480 series prices seem pretty accurate.

Yeah, we're fukked. Just sucks because if Avery Bradley's shoulder would have held up, we'd have had a legit at another Finals. His on-ball defending is sick and he thoroughly bothered Wade when we faced them this year. Now we're screwed because no way can gimpy Ray Allen guard Wade, and if Doc moves Rondo to him, that's gonna mess the rest of Rondo's game up.

Sad as I am to say it, it's Heat in 5, possibly 6. I'd be surprised if we push it to 7 and utterly shocked if we're victorious.

If Heat can make jump shots they'll win easily. If not it will be tough for them. The C's will have no problem clogging the lane and making it hard for Wade and James to get to the rim.

The Heat will win this series in 4 or 5. Garnett and Rondo will both get theirs, just like the Philly series, but that's not enough this round. The Heat will dominate this series.

Rondo has been the Heats achilles heal in the past , if they can slow him down they should be able to close out the series in 6 tops ... But if Rondo starts pulling trip dubs and having his way with Miami , this will go 7 ...
    But HEAT will win ...

I say the Celtics win in 4 games. Everybody thinks the Heat are gone run the Celtics out of the building. The Hawks and 76ers were young and more athletic then the Celtics and that got them now where but home on the coach. The Celtics win Game 1 and win the series in 6 games.

What is it? Boston in 4 or 6 games.

Heat should win by 20 every game. Celtics have never beaten the Heat and they matchup terribly. Good luck!

If Bosh was healthy, and Miami didn't slack in any of the games, in reality they would very likely sweep Boston.

With Bosh gone, Boston is gonna win atleast 1. Whether they win 2 or 3 totally depends on how hard Miami tries this series. They are clearly the better team (and Celtics are even more banged up) and the only way Heat lose is if Wade/Lebron go into brick-mode and start launching contested jump shots all night long.

I would be surprised if Miami doesn't close this out in 5, MAX 6. Wade and LeBron are gonna win this series for the team and they simply can't afford to bang these two up for even 1 extra game before the Finals.

Heat took 6 games to clear Indiana.
They are beatable. You can bet your bottom dollar
this Boston team believes they can win and get to the finals.

Indiana is better than Boston, also bosh will be back by game 3-5 in this series so I'm not sure what your point is there

pretty much. Word I hear is that Bosh has already started light conditioning, he'll likely practice early this week and be back by game 3-5

Not sure why everyone is so hung up on Bosh... he is scared to death of KG. Obviously he is talented enough to have a great game or 2, but he wouldn't do much in this series even if he was healthy. KG shoots something like 7 percentage points higher when Bosh is on the court than his average, and Bosh shoots a bit worse.

I would almost rather have Bosh play... he takes touches away from Lebron and DWade, who have much more advantageous matchups

I think Bosh's presence alone is huge cause it draws away inside help to the perimeter and Wade/Lebron will devour Pierce/Allen inside the paint. Neither guy has the athleticism left to really guard their matchups

I can see Boston winning a couple games if they're red hot and shoot like 60% on jumpers but it's gonna be very hard to beat Miami with jumpers when they're gonna be driving the ball down into your throat every play

What is the line for a Heat sweep? If its over +1000 I might consider.
