    BOS @ MIA O/U 200? Seriously???

    What am I missing here? The East has been all about defense all playoffs, and now we're getting a West-type o/u number.

    Going by the spread the books are giving us, I cannot see this game ending at 104-97. I see it being more around the 92-84 mark.

    I will be locking in the u/200 before it moves.

    Any thoughts?

    My book doesnt have the lines up but im finding it hard to believe that line..200? Did the books think GSW and Nuggets are playing in the ECF? =S

    And if that really is the number, than 80% sure its a trap, and over is probably the play.

    I've looked around and cannot find a total on this game at any other book. I have no idea why an Aussie book is the first to release this line. Normally the Aussie books just follow the US books and are about 30-60 mins behind line movements. Will be interesting to see what number the more reputable books set this total at.

    I also dropped 5 units on under 200 which is my max bet. Considering that is my max bet on a line that would be considered even, I should have unloaded on a line that I knew was off. Anyway, best not to get greedy. Max bet is a max bet for a reason.

    Line is now at 194.5, which still seems a little high to me. I will be very interested now to see where the other books open this.

    Hope a few people jumped on this before the large line movement!

    Thanks for the heads up on this line! I ended up seeing this thread, immediately logging into sportsbet and getting it for under 197! Just after it was confirmed the line dropped down to 194.5.. Good value imo, especially those who got u 200!

    I feel good when things like this happen. The books clearly have an edge over the majority of punters, so it's nice to get the edge on them for once.

    This is the second time sportsbet.com.au have 'slipped' on a MIA/BOS game and I've bitten.

    Earlier in the season they listed a MIA/BOS game twice as 2 separate markets, so I parlayed them together and it paid out. Love it when that happens.

    My 2 cracks at 200 & 194 haven't been cancelled & I doubt they will be because it wouldn't be an "error" if they only adjusted to 194 the 1st time around..
    Im spewing that I just as I was having a 3rd crack after seeing Pinny open at 178(?) they moved it down to 178!

    The bets are still showing as approved (mine are anyway).
    Loaded up on this twice - at 200 and 194.5.. These numbers stayed in play for well over 12hrs overnight till the US totals got released. Now it's at 179.

    Mistakes happen, but this is beyond comprehension

    They didn't get beat on a slow move, they opened 10+ hours before the world, in a sport outside their expertise, with a line 20 pts off up for hours and hours more

    no American book would've posted lines like that. A cursory glance by their linesmaker could've told them that 200 or 194 was way off.
