Lebron will get revenge against the Spurs in the finals

Book it. The perfect team for the Heat to play.

There's a greater chance the Heat get swept by the Spurs than the Heat beating the Spurs.

You sure? I think its vice versa. The Heat was down 14 at the half against SA and still won by 22. Spurs has no size. And their offense is penetrating and kick it out to the three point shooter. Its hard to run that offense against one of the best perimeter defending teams in the league.

Why are the Spurs the perfect team for the Heat to play?

The Spurs are much better than the team that embarrassed the Heat last year in the Finals.

Spurs have dominated sloppy teams. Miami is not a sloppy team.

Yeah but the Heat are better than last year. More chemistry. And Battier coming out the bench is better than eddie house coming off the bench. Turiaf > Dampier

    Biggest factor....BENCH.

This is exactly what will prevent Miami from winning vs Spurs in a best of 7 series.

You think UD gets suspended that long?

I think just a fine, but worse case, one game suspension.

haslem shoulda been hit with a 10 game suspension for that bullshit...we've been hearing "boston is old" for how long now? and Garnett is destroying everyone...the heat can barely beat the Pacers even with the Refs help..not gonna happen vs. boston

No matter what Lebron fanboys think, Heat are gonna struggle big time with the Spurs. They have a legit TOP-5 PG starting for them.

yup spurs a more complete team, lebron/wade can combine for 70 every game and it isn't even a sure thing they win.

Maybe you aren't as big of Heat fan as you claim.

Eddie House only played in 2 of the six Dallas games. I don't remember him being injured.

Dampier did not get one minute in any of the Dallas games.

If the Heat are better this year than last, their regular season record didn't show it.

regular season = preseason for this team

the chemistry between players (mainly lebron/wade/bosh), is obviously better then the first yr playing together.

chalmers is a better player this yr, and a healthy haslem and miller, along with the addition of battier is an improvement over last yr..

but regardless, were they really that bad last yr? they dominated the east and then choked vs dallas.. it is all gonna depend on if they show up this time-- whether they are better now, or just the same as last yr.

Miami was the 5th worst in the league defending the 3 pointer.

Don't think I would call that being "one of the best perimeter defending teams in the league".

I agree that Chalmers is better. Last year he didn't even start against Dallas. And their chemistry is better, you are right.

I think the "they didn't show up last year" argument is very lame.

It was the NBA Finals. How do you "not show up"?

Yeah and if you remember correctly, the heat went off from 3. Miller was what 6-6 and Lebron was jacking up shots from 3 feet behind the line and hitting. I would give Bron the 3 point shot all night and guarantee they wouldn't win 4 out of 7 with him jacking up those 3s.

They're holding their opposition under 30% in the postseason, second best out of 16 playoff teams. so obviously that stat didn't carry on into the playoffs.

I actually think miami will b a live dog in the finals which they make barring a wade or lebron injury. Unlike last year they dont really have any pressure since the western conference finals is bein touted as the nba championship, so no one will expect a victory. Bosh should b back n have a few games under his belt b4 the finals 2.

Spurs changed their way of playing just to compete against teams like OKC and Miami..What ever happens Finals and Western conference finals will be amazing to watch.. Lebron will show you how how to close games out..

Yeah, 66 game sample versus 11 game sample. You're too sharp for us, you Moron. Give me some more of those Eric Dampier stats from last year that was so important to you in an earlier post. Stupid is as stupid does. Thank you Forest!

They held opponents to 30% or less 3Pt fg because they only played the Knicks and Indiana, both of which loves to jack up 3's instead of moving the ball for better looks. See what happens when the spurs start raining from deep.
